It's been a while since I've been around, and I've been working my rear end off with this whole DJ/Producer thing. Along the way, I've played several shows, got added to a record label that barely pays attention to me, and have produced a ton of music, mainly Dubstep and Drum n Bass. With that here is my soundcloud, with a bunch of tracks I've recently produced. http://soundcloud.com/punktematrix Share your soundcloud. Don't have one? Get one. It's awesome!

Just recently started getting into producing music with Ableton. Here is less than a months worth of experience, in three completely different tracks. One is hard hitting electronic/house, the other is chill eastern influenced music, and the newest is improvised glitchy dubstep. http://soundcloud.com/irpat

http://soundcloud.com/postpre I've been making music for about 4 years now. Most of it is rooted in hi-hop with a strong emphasis on melody, and you'll find traces of house and a lot of orchestral and 8 bit sound. Tucked In The Cut fucked around with this message at 14:04 on Mar 27, 2011 |

Had never heard of this site before, but I am currently uploading tracks. Thanks for the link, OP. edit: http://soundcloud.com/the-furniture Random genres that I have tried to imitate over time, including acoustic, synth-pop, rock, etc. As a bonus, a mini-concept album I recorded last semester as a creative alternative to the final paper for my Medieval Travel Writing seminar. tickytack fucked around with this message at 19:22 on Oct 27, 2010 |

Great thread! I've been a composer for a while now and just started really getting into EDM. I'm making mixes weekly and continuing to gently caress around in ableton. Still a newb, but I think I have potential! http://soundcloud.com/chadeous My latest work is "The Japanese Dinosaur," using samples of the Japanese national anthem and a tiny, wind up dinosaur my friend brought me from Japan. I look forward to hearing everyone's stuff! This is a great spin-off of the "post your sketches" thread.

Quincy Smallvoice posted:flesh out track 6 with some form of bassline and I'll buy that bitch on the spot. If I remember correctly I kept the bass out of the track to place the full focus on the orchestral parts. That whole set is five years old and like everything I do in Live it's pieced together from parts of unfinished or never to be finished songs. So, I'm not going to go back and add a bassline. Thanks for listening and for the compliment though.

http://soundcloud.com/glyphrojas Prog house/trance(though that's not really what we're all about). Nothing new on here, just the two tracks from our first release and a dubby track we wrote. I intend on having new material up for the end of the year(man, does that ever sound optimistic).

Just finished uploading a couple tracks to soundcloud. I have a project called the disconnect which can best be described as instrumental/ambient, but I don't like to say ambient as much because that makes it seem slow. http://soundcloud.com/thedisconnect/ I recommend listening to Singularity first to get an idea of the tracks.

http://soundcloud.com/yok-rzeznic Seems what is currently on there simply involves demos that I have been creating over the last few weeks, some of the earlier ones got bumped off the other end and the later few are really just ideas I was sharing with some friends, especially the dude I am going to be working with when it comes to properly giving these things a go. So take it is demo sketches, some have formed full songs and such so far, but they're certainly not finalised. Also, I am not a guitarist, so I consider the fact that I could play it over all of this to be an achievement in itself.

http://soundcloud.com/renderful I've been getting into sound design for years via audio programming(ChucK, PureData) and love of various synthesis techniques as well as a bit of field recording. Now I'm working on a workflow for making actual tracks which create and relieve tension or just jam out psychedelically. So far there's the first draft of the experiment I'm working on now. I look forward to listening to your work! Soundcloud is such a great idea, glad that this thread was posted. Thanks.
