At the Zoo about to see yacht club DJs. Venue is starting to get a dew hundred here. Not bad for a band with something like 8000 fans on Facebook, playing the weekend before Uni exams. They were bloody amazing though. Even though there were only several hundred people there it was still chaotic and fantastic fun. They really did put on a world-class show and I'd love them to release some actual music.

On The Zoo's site it says they don't serve rum, is that to keep the Bundaberg loving Queensland rednecks at bay? I find that rather hilarious  , I've never seen anything like that down in NSW.

I think it's a lot of this and a little of the fact that bundy is cane-sugar rum and thus absolutely loving loaded to the hilt with sugar. I'm not surprised that it makes retards act retarded when it is in effect giving them a sugar high. Then again I'd expect them to act just big a dickhead on energy drinks. It's not rum's fault, but I can see the logic in bundy rum being fuel for fuckwits to act fuckwitted.

I lucky enough to get tickets for their on-demand show on the thursday in melbourne. Wasn't their set just the greatest? Had a blast, some guys kept jumping on stage (after about 50 or so members of the crowd were kicked off by the bouncers and the set was momentarily halted) and did some crab inspired dance. Every time i saw him i attempt to imitate. After the set they were mingling with the crowd and i approached one of them to thank them for the show, i was incredibly drunk, beardy, and sweaty. I clasped his hand in a double handed hand-shake. I saw terror in his eyes

Ludachrist Ruined me. Both of their albums are so loving ballsout rocking, and nobody does it like they do. Girltalk tries to hard, doesn't seem as energetic, natural and effortless and fun as LC, and Yachtclub DJs are okay, better than GT, but still really tame. I need my mashup to be absolutely mindshredding, I guess.
