Already beaten the game once, but I wanna try and get 100% before the end, so I reloaded an old save. I got the carcano and Mauser only after completing undead sharpshooter rank 5 (get 5 sniper headshots in 8 seconds). Of course the save that I did this on now crashes whenever I try to go near las hermanas to complete the mother superior's final task. <>

Mine crashed in the same spot, but it was cause I had a hogtied zombie already on the horse Man, when I am NOT looking for zombie bears, or zombie cougars, I get assraped by them. When I go a huntin' for em, nowhere to be found. Side note, there are regular bears in the game as well! I found that out after setting it on fire and not getting credit for the kill. Hopped off my horse and looked at it, and yep, regular bear. Finished up the treasures and working on the "kill 4 types of zombies" but I can't find any bruisers or retchers just yet. After I finish that hunter bit up, I am going to tackle the remainder of the challenges. Lovin this game

Well, got legendary in all the challenges but no 1911. Kinda pissed off too... BIG UN SPOILERS SO DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T BEATEN THE GAME! Why the hell can't I come back from the dead and ride my unicorn?!?!?! I know my bitch of a kid stole all my poo poo and is out galleyvantin' all over creation using the uniforms and clothes and whatnot, but god drat I liked riding Skittles. Casual aim helps a LOT when you are just trying to level up/clear a graveyard/blast some people. Since I had already beaten the game (but had my audio off) I did a "quick" run through, but that still took about 8 hours or so since I hosed around and completed all the challenges before the last mission. For the guys and gals who haven't beaten this yet, but want to get that whole "I got all the costumes and horsies!" kinda stuff going, the last chance to save before you get to the "final oh gently caress can't save" area is a mission called Mother Superior Blues. This is the best DLC I have ever played, and possibly the best deal for what you get on XBL or PSN. It's just awesome.

How do you get your cool flaming/sick looking horses back after they die? I just get some lame undead horse who doesn't listen when I whistle now.

Scarf posted:You have to wait until you complete all of the Apocalypse Horse challenges. Then you get their deeds/bloodpacts. On that front I can't get the level 5 challenge: Use death and kill the other three horses. I got Death immediately after completing the story, rode into Mexico and found Pestilence, broke him, hopped back on Death, started ramming Pestilence, and he wouldn't die. Now that being said, the progress bar in challenges started moving, so do you really have to kill the other horses using Death, or can you just ram them a few times?

I was pretty sure the text of the challenge stated horses and not zombies to earn the challenge, but I cannot check right now. I guess that's what I get for playing at 2:00 in the morning. That would make that challenge easier than I first thought. Hell, that would be easier than finding the horses in the first place.

When I started playing UN (PS3) a week ago, my UN trophies and such were reflected in my stats on the Rockstar Social Club page. Now none of the UN stats are listed. Bummer -- I actually got to level 18 in overrun but I can't see it recorded anywhere. Anybody else having this problem?

Yeah...you can pretty much get that challenge done by just showing up at El Presidio and riding through the crowd a few times. And there you go.

Not sure if this has been posted, but here's how I got the High Power Pistol: you occasionally have random encounters with some sort of "doctor" on a gatling gun, who offers you ammunition in exchange for "live" zombies or zombie parts after you discover the blunderbuss. If you do his bidding every time you run into him, eventually he gives you the High Power Pistol.

I think I read on the wiki (or here, I forget) that if you sit at a camp with a guy who's eating body/zombie parts, you eventually pick up something, eat it, then throw up. Endgame spoilers: Does ZomboMarston still throw up?

Quick question. I only recently got RDR, and haven't gotten too far into it. Will playing Undead Nightmare spoil anything? Or am I just gonna meet people John "knows" that I never met in game, and not ruin anything for myself?

I'd play RDR first, all the way through.

It's a fantastic game with a great story, and the "dicking off" parts are just as fun and impressive as the story. Take your time, it's not like there's a time-limit on playing them.

Don't finish it up all the way though, just complete the one final task (you'll know it once you get there), and before heading back to the Ol' Homestead quit out of the game and start up Undead Nightmare. Undead Nightmare basically starts with how the original should've ended.

I haven't tried but I believe someone mentioned last page that he does still throw up. Also, as I mentioned I reverted to an earlier save with the intention of doing everything up until the last mission and challenges and such. While I had not a single issue my first play through, my PS3 locked up right where other people mentioned in las hermanas. So I restarted, no problem and made a bunch of progress. Then right after I did something that triggered an auto-save my power went out for a second. I was worried if the auto-save finished because I know that's a no-no to cut power while saving, but it had. Played a bit longer, did something to auto-save and my power went out again. It wasn't raining or anything, so I got this crazy notion in my head that somehow my PS3 just started sucking electricity in order to save, but after that time I was fine the rest of the night. Now I'm just roaming around Mexico looking for some mythical creatures, and I've got the kill 4 types of zombies in one deadeye left to do. Anyone have an opinion on best place to do that?

Are you still a zombie when you wear the legend of the apocalypse outfit? It seems like the only way to complete all of the challenges and get the outfit is to finish the story. I'm not really into being a zombie.

After I got the pistol I never saw him again, but I don't think you can shoot him and loot it. Also, I can confirm that if you sit down at a random camp you eventually eat some interesting meat and vomit it right back up. At the time I was Zombie Marson, so I missed any amusing dialogue, but I did chuckle at the fact that a zombie found eating human meat revolting. Also, I hate being Zombie Marston.

To repeat a helpful tip: If you hitch the unicorn, he'll return even after you kill him. So unless you use a different horse's deed, you can't lose him and end up having to find him again.

Last night got up to wave 30 in Undead Overrun. Seems the timer is persistent and doesn't reset, so if you take too long on an early wave, it can come back and gently caress you up in the later ones. We were playing in the cemetary near Blackwater, 4 man team, and no one was camping on some rooftop, everyone knew that getting the coffin/killing sumbitches was the only way to keep going. Made about $212,000 on it.
