Some more details from someone working here (I work in IT but not desktop) Upside: Overtime is easy to come by and you won't get screwed out of getting paid for it. The health insurance is super cheap and super awesome. If you work a holiday you get 1.5x pay for the day plus a vacation day. Downside: Getting to the PC you need to fix. The hospital is a huge goddamn labyrinth. Suiting up for sterile zones. We have wireless everywhere in the hospital for mobile computers. It’s a part time position (30 hrs/wk, Thu.- Sun.), but you would be working for our company rather than the store, and with multiple nationwide chains rolling out next year, we’re treating this job as sort of a trial basis to potentially bring people on full-time in these positions next year. Basic responsibilities include: Assist customers in-store using the app, and promote the app’s features and benefits to customers with smartphones. I am looking for either people with experience in IT Management software (Think Remedy, CA, HP, BMC, CA, IBM, S-Now) with a technical/consulting background and in interest in sales, or I am looking for people who have Presales/Solution Consulting experience with an IT Management software vendor. I have an immediate need (January hire) for someone in the Service Support area (ITSM solutions primarily), but I will take interest and resumes in all aspects of IT Management (Automation, Monitoring, Operations, etc). These are not quota carrying sales positions, but are technical pre-sales, so you will work closely with customers and the sales team. Candidates should be in the Southwest US (Southern California preferred, but AZ, CO, and Vegas areas okay). Compensation is competitive and will be based on your salary history, experience, and location, but these are low six-figure positions. PM me with questions or for more info.
