Job Opening(s) - Boston Area My company is hiring 3 in-store app specialists in Cambridge, Hingham, and Wellesley to help roll-out a shopping app in a chain of stores over the holidays. It’s a part time position (30 hrs/wk, Thu.- Sun.), but you would be working for our company rather than the store, and with multiple nationwide chains rolling out next year, we’re treating this job as sort of a trial basis to potentially bring people on full-time in these positions next year. Basic responsibilities include: Assist customers in-store using the app, and promote the app’s features and benefits to customers with smartphones. Track store and app usage data, which will be reported to the marketing team on a daily basis. Assist store employees with app issues. It’s a retail/sales position, so any experience in those fields is great, but really, if you’re outgoing and have a good personality, that suits the position just fine. Pay is $12-15 hr, based on background. If you or anyone you know is interested in a holiday job that’s a step above your average retail position, with the potential for a full-time job in the near future, this is a pretty cool gig. For full information, contact ryan.davis1015@gmail.com.

Two openings, both preferably non-telecommuting positions, to work in our Vermont office. We're a small investment research firm, and we're trying to grow our subscription business from less than $1 million to over $3 million in the next 18 months. Financial Copywriter I'm currently one of two copywriters, and right now we have a lot more demand for copy than we have copywriters. Definitely lots of room for growth and some pretty good money. We're looking for someone with experience in writing front-end long copy direct mail promotions. If you don't have this experience, or even if you're a copywriter and you don't know what a front-end is, it's not worth your time sending me your resume. I wish I could hire someone and train them, but we need someone who can come in and be a rock star out of the gate. Analyst/editor for an income, ETF or commodity research service We have a 4 people writing 6 research services right now, and we're looking to launch more. We're already stretched pretty thin, so we need someone with a strong background in securities analysis, as well as solid writing skills. If you're Warren Buffett but you can't write a complete sentence to save your life, then we can't use you. If you can write 2000 words a day standing on your head, but don't know the difference between a balance sheet and an earnings report, then keep writing that novel - but we can't use you. send your resooms to kevinvonkevinstein at yahoo dotcom

Candidate Pipeline/Job Opening - Southwest US This is a long shot, but I need to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for Software Consulting (technical presales) for a large independent software manufacturer. I am looking for either people with experience in IT Management software (Think Remedy, CA, HP, BMC, CA, IBM, S-Now) with a technical/consulting background and in interest in sales, or I am looking for people who have Presales/Solution Consulting experience with an IT Management software vendor. I have an immediate need (January hire) for someone in the Service Support area (ITSM solutions primarily), but I will take interest and resumes in all aspects of IT Management (Automation, Monitoring, Operations, etc). These are not quota carrying sales positions, but are technical pre-sales, so you will work closely with customers and the sales team. Candidates should be in the Southwest US (Southern California preferred, but AZ, CO, and Vegas areas okay). Compensation is competitive and will be based on your salary history, experience, and location, but these are low six-figure positions. PM me with questions or for more info. If you are a Remedy guru who can sell ice to eskimos, I really want to hear from you.
