Jesus christ Joe, stay away from me and don't you dare even read my posts, you are haunted! No, but seriously, that was a fascinating interview. You did sound quite nervous but given that you knew you were being recorded for a pod cast and what you were discussing it's totally understandable and I for one would have sounded much, much worse if I were in that situation I have to say. You definitely didn't come off as a nut bar or anything, you sounded very level headed and sensible in your assessments. You were also not boring to listen to because you were a bit animated with your speech. I'm also very much of the same mind on the issue as you are despite not having any experiences myself, but my two aunts have had according to them quite a few similar experiences and one of them is even a professional medium and from the stories they've told me I do believe that they are sincere in recounting what they have experienced, but I don't necessarily subscribe to these being encounters of the traditional concept of apparitions. But jesus loving christ, I hope I never experience anything like you have. I'm most of all impressed that you're brave enough to continue to work there after these experiences. I had to let my dog in to sit with me because of the creepiness of your stories. Kudos to you though for being brave enough to discuss it as well, you did come off ss very sincere, I don't think I've ever found someone so credible in recounting such things in terms of their demeanour in discussing it.

Everyone should listen to The Bugle anyway.

Yeah, it's weird. I spend ten+ hours a week on a microphone in front of complete strangers and it's never a big deal. One phone call with Bryan and I sounded terrified the entire time. Oh well. Got to be on a pretty cool podcast about crazy people as said crazy person.

The Benoit stuff was very heavy, I think this would be the first time he spoke about Benoit at length in public. I miss MVP, but I'm glad he got out when he did and on his own terms. I should probably get around to watching his New Japan stuff sometime.

just finished listening to the first half of MVP on I Want Wrestling. Honestly, I pretty much didn't give a poo poo about MVP before, but he got himself super-over in my eyes in that interview. I now want to put MVP in charge of WWE developmental. I'll listen to the second half tonight.

Things I learned from this B&V: -Jake The Snake is capable of having TEN STAR MATCHES -Chris Candido is a robot -Young Lance Storm was STERN -Jim Cornette can run the ropes better than most of the WWE roster -Smokey Mountain Wrestling can restore even the most jaded wrestling reporter's love of the business.

Lamuella posted:just finished listening to the first half of MVP on I Want Wrestling. I liked MVP when he first came in and feuded with Benoit and for some time afterward. But then they failed to pull the trigger on him and started their normal routine of burying him and making him just another guy on the roster and I guess his work started to suffer and he didn't seem to be really motivated anymore (and, really, who can blame him?), so I wasn't sad to see him leave the WWE. After listening to the interview, I'm really impressed with him for taking control of his career and walking away from guaranteed money to follow his dream. It's a shame that there aren't many opportunities for guys to do that anymore, so they just end up lingering in the WWE, collecting a pay-check until Vince decides it's time to get rid of them.

RBR is probably my favorite wrestling-related podcast at the moment. It doesn't get too redundant since I usually don't watch Smackdown/Superstars/iMPACT until Sundays after I've already spoiled the results on the show. Matt is loud and sometimes annoying, though. Listening to what I think is a particularly strong episode of Smart

I have tuned out Dave's "you knows", but one thing he does not do that drives me crazy is TURN HIS CELL PHONE OFF. He'll be talking and then you'll hear that interference as his phone is pulling in Data, because he has it too close to the phone he's on. Argh!
