I am looking forward to Dave getting a follow up mailbag question and answering it "Yeah, they used to, ya know do that."

This Konnan interview is great. He just tells it straight and how it is.

I love the part at the very start about RVD taking a hit on skype at a press conference

The latest Lagana podcast has him talking to Todd Martin and the "Barrister" of the Embassy about the litigation against Homicide. All in kayfabe. It's quite good actually. Todd Martin discussing the risks of being in possession of a flux capacitor is amusing.

"Who's going to be jaywalking across an autobahn with a flux capacitor?"

Also that Aerostar video is awesome. His 'human torpedo' dive is awesome.

I think the most visually impressive stuff he does is his top rope 619/Tiger Feint, his reverse 450s, and him flipping over the ropes in wacky ways to convince opponents to run into the post/turnbuckle.

I listened to The Law, but skipped over the Title Bout Trivia segment. Wasn't the prize this week a copy of Vince Russo's book? Or was that a SWERVE?

turn it all around

Does anyone want to do a podcast with me? I run a site and have some friends blogging about stuff, and I was going to do a weekly wrestling vlog... but I can't really find the motivation to stand there and talk about wrestling alone. I feel like there's more of a dynamic if there's more than one person involved rather than just a talking head. Anyone ever have any interest in starting a podcast but has been reluctant until now? 'Cause I think it'd be fun to talk/complain about wrestling with someone and share it each week.

Just letting you know that in the not too distant future there may be a PSPodcast. Help the couple of us that are working to put this together: what are YOU looking for in a wrasslin podcast?

I'm looking for me in a wrasslin podcast. I can also provide a space for posting/blogging about it on the site I run (http://www.coolkidcity.com). It's kind of a bunch of friends of mine writing about various stuff, mostly music-related but also TV, movies and whatever else. Wrestling is more my forte than anything else, so I'd love to get something going/join in on something if possible.

You're a cutey. ;)

But a few of us are running our first PSPodcast test tonight so we'll let you know how it goes. We've got the format figured out. It's not going to be another "So this week on Raw. This week on Smackdown blah blah" kind of review podcast, it's going to be about wrestling (and a bit of MMA) in general. More of a roundtable discussion among (e-)friends who like this homoerotic poo poo. If it goes forward there will be more than enough room for cycling guest posters in the future.

Actually that reminds me, one of the best podcasts I ever listened to was the Dr Keith show where they just went around discussing their favourite WWE B-Show PPVs from the past 20 or so years. It was nice, just a bunch of friends discussing stuff only hardcore fans would remember or be interested in.

That kind of sounds like what you might be going for, more of a discussion type show rather than BREAKING NEWS AND REVIEWS

Yep this is pretty similar to what we're doing. Each person is going to have a list of a few topics to throw out, as broad or narrow as they want and we're just going to talk about one at a time. It may last 5 minutes or it may take up the entire show. Who knows.

We're definitely excited to get things going but there are inherent problems. Such as, I know poo poo about the internet other than "click here for wrasslin, click here for porn." So hosting may be an issue? Also tonight during our test will be the first time I ever use Skype. On the bright side this computer also doubles as part of my home recording studio so at least I'll be able to edit/process the recordings well enough.

if you're planning an audience of more than a few dozen, paying for hosting will probably be an issue. Smart Wrestling Fan use Podbean, which seems pretty reliable. I've also heard good things about Jellycast, who power the Ricky Gervais podcasts.
