I've had this game since release. I am just now trying a hard run. I'm cheesing it with a veteran pistol/stealth/toughness build with significant points invested in sabotage and martial arts. Let us see how many times I throw my controller.

Focus on one weapon. Pistols is the most highly recommended, obviously. If you're going for a "go shooting" build I'd pump up stealth to awareness, go for shotgun or pistols, then pump up toughness. I actually REALLY like toughness but eh. Tech ap. is good for brilliance, sabotage is good to assist in hacking, but I think you can just kick doors down and shoot.

Think I tried re-installing various drivers and using different settings, but it has been a while since then. No I didn't and thanks for the answer though. I really would love to play this game. I'm a big fan of western rpgs and from the first 15mins that I could stomach playing it seemed awesome and right up my alley. I just can't play the game though if it doesn't quite understand where my mouse pointer is. I'm pretty sure that is what is causing the stuttering too when I look around since it doesn't quite understand the mouse pointer then it tries to catch up to where it was when I moved.. It's like it's going back and forth between windows and the game. I have no idea what to do, but it certainly has made this game unplayable for me. I can't use radial menus or move into new areas without the game glitching to hell and back. Why do I keep buying obsidian games! They are the new Troika to me. The only Ob game that I've been able to play all the way through without a game stopping bug has been Fallout: NV. So yeah if anyone knows how to fix this mouse situaion let me know. About Embassy mission... So I talked my way in and took care to only use tranq ammo and fists (and assault rifle on a couple of turrets) but Albatross sent me this message http://i.imgur.com/TgTmS.jpg like I had left a pile of corpses on the way? Conversation with Leland after was also like that. Did I gently caress up something? Mission recap had 0 kills and total kill count didn't increase either.

This email always struck me as a weird missing tag. Albatross wants you to sneak in through the back door (he's all about stealth), but that automatically flags you as having killed Marines. When you walk up and "introduce" yourself, he's upset that you've blown your secrecy (which flags you as having hosed up, but only with him). That's the way it's always come across to me anyway, because that's the only way you get the "didn't kill Marines" flag. Also, you won't lose rep with Albatross and there's only more time after that when you'd run into him anyway. I'm referring to Brayko's mansion, although I think you can hire a hitsquad for the train yard, but I don't remember if that has to come before the Embassy mission. When I chose to execute the guy at the abandoned shop in Rome, I cringed a little when Mike simply said, "Shut up and let me do my job." It sounded like something a terrorist from 24 would say. Also, walking up to Madison when she's in your hideout, looking at her, and just saying, "Bitch."

I haven't messed with gadgets at all, so I think I'll use them heavily the next time around. Also, outside of the first meeting I haven't interacted with Sie at all. So going to make that a priority. The second run was pretty cool though. During the final mission I was able to turn both Marburg and Parker. Also, I didn't know that the last boss could be Westridge or Leland. I actually didn't encounter Westridge at all during the final mission this time.
