This is a pretty specific trade request, but I figured I would throw it out there just in case.

I've got a black LTD EC-401 that I absolutely adore but it has one major problem: the floyd rose trem. Everything else is great; the neck is awesome, the pickups absolutely scream, and even acoustically it sounds good; but I just can't bond with the floyd. They're just too finicky for me.

Basically, I was wondering if anyone was interested in trading a hard-tail EC-401 for my floyd equipped one?

I know, and I did for a while with a couple pieces of wood, but I just really prefer TOM bridges over fender style bridges. I don't like the feel of the Floyd against my hand when I palm mute.

Would you take $250 for it since that what you paid for it? pass on the savings friend! ;)

Also, consider me interested (even at asking price) in about a week as well.

That's what I paid for it out of pocket, but that's not all that I invested in it, so no, I wouldn't sell it for $250, haha

The SA Mart thread is pretty dead, so I should still have it next week unless I decide to go to ebay or something

I don't think that MuRF does much with a Voyager, so no, I don't need that :[

What's the best place to sell old gear (couple of amps and elec guitars), craigslist? What kind of deals do you get at places like Guitar Center or Music Go Round?

I have model numbers for all my stuff but am having trouble finding comperable sales to get good pricing ideas for them.

I've been checking completed listings and have one question:

What is a good price on a Fender Stratocaster (Mexican built) 1993 or 1994 (serial is MN3117120)? It's my only piece I can't get a good estimation on.

$300-$350, depending on color, condition, if it has a case, etc.

I LOVE those old MIM Strats. My first guitar ever was a Mexican Strat, back when the Squier label was still made in Mexico. But, I can't see paying that much for a MIM Strat that's over 15 years old, even if were sunburst, pristine, and had a hard case. I'd pay no more than 200 on something like that.

Yeah that's the problem, so many differing opinions.

Here's a quick list of poo poo to trade if anyone is interested. :) Trying to make room in da studio:

What I got:
-Behringer BCR 2000 Missing a few knobs, gigged a lot. Probably worth like $25.
-2x almost new Shure SM58
-MOTU Ultralite v1. Missing a knob cover and the LCD flickers but it works perfectly otherwise. In the box.
-MOTU Microlite. used, but in the box.
-Vestax VMC-004 DJ mixer. Channel 2 fader is a little scratchy, and the Xfader probably needs to be replaced.
-Alesis Micron with a gig bag. Gigged a lot, and it's missing one of the mod fader knob covers.
-Ortofon Nightclub DJ cart/stylus

What I want:
-8 channel XLR stage snake hopefully with a 1/4" return. Maybe 20-30 feet.
-4 space ATA rack at least 16" deep (wood/metal, not SKB plastic)
-License for Ableton Sampler
-2 channel DJ mixer (Vestax, Stanton SK, or a low-end Pioneer)
-A wifi iPad
-Rode NT condensor
-Shure SM57 or two
-A pair of low-end monitors
-Shure M-44 cart/needle

I'm in Chicago if that makes a difference.

Apparently I thought MIM Strats got as big as a price bump a few years back as the basses did, but I see they're only $500 new. I'd drop my estimate to $250-300, with $200 being a I just wanna get rid of this quick price, at least based on the prices I've seen recently on craigslist.

Interesting... I'm still up in the air on selling it, I was just thinking of... uh.. sidegrading to a different interface, but I'll think about the video. What I want for it? No idea. Perhaps in the neighborhood of $200 shipped. A little less than the going rate on eBay because of the LCD and the knob.

The 07 is on my "maybe" list because I'm not sure how much I'd like the EQ faders instead of knobs.... But what do you want for it? I've used the 07 before and it's a fantastic mixer.

Not to sound like a dick, but the TR6's go for about $250 shipped on eBay. A Micron also goes for about $250 shipped on eBay. Would you be willing to do the Events+$40 for the Micron and the SM58? Or just the Events for the Micron straight up?

Oct 22, 2008

Yeah I'd probably be down. My only concern is that the micron is well worn and busted up... Let me figure out shipping or whatever and get back to you, where would they be going? Honestly I had no idea of the value of the micron, I just priced it around what I'd be willing to do for it, and they are heavy. If you want to pass or just buy the mons that's fine too. I'm sure we can come to some sort of accord. Especially if these are things that you need!

Oh, I just don't know
where to begin.
Fun Shoe
I've got this up on Talkbass, but I guess I might as well try it here as well. I got a G&L Tribute L-2000 which is great, but the dual humbuckers don't agree with me. Also, the active circuit doesn't work for some reason. From watching demos online, this is no great loss and could be upgraded to a great preamp for not that much. It is perfectly playable in passive mode. Pictures are available here.

Here are some trade ideas I'd be interested in:

-MIJ/CIJ Fender (particularly P or Mustang) *If I liked Jazzes I'd probably be keeping the G&L*
-Other Japanese basses from the 70s or later (ie Matsumoku, Electra, Univox, etc.) Precision copies or otherwise
-I'd LOVE a Japanese Rickenbacker copy
-Something with a Darkstar pickup (Darkstar P would be great)
-Peavey T-40 (maybe?)
-Other quirky or vintage style basses
-Perhaps a Squier Classic Vibe Precision+cash (Prefer a 60 but would consider a 50) for a Darkstar conversion.

I can add cash for the right thing.

Got two things I'm looking to get rid of. First is a Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus. Got this in a trade and just don't use it. Comes with the box and all original manuals, works perfectly and is in great condition:

Looking to get $40 for it.

Also have an M-Audio mobile pre usb audio interface. I bought this about 8 months ago and only used it a handful of times. It's the older version and comes with an unused copy of Ableton Live Lite 6. I had been using Reaper with this on my Dell Mini 9 and it ran fine. Comes in the original box with all the manuals and discs and is in great condition:

I couldn't find the product details for this online since everyone has the newer one listed, but here's the specs on an Ebay auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MOBILEPRE-Preamp-USB-Computer-interface-M-AUDIO-NEW-/200638242247?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb6f89dc7

Looking to get $65 for it.

The only trades I'm really looking for right now would be for some cheap cymbals, I don't really care what kind I just need a set so I can practice. If you want to buy them outright paypal is wownirvana@gmail.com but I don't check it regularly so just PM/respond here if you want something.

Best thing about Kramer aluminum neck guitars is that since they don't have the "Travis Bean" name on them and don't go for as seriously as much amount of cash.

Several on eBay now going for a few hundred.
