Every time I turn around there is some minor or not so minor aspect that was improved from F4. Most of which were exactly the kinds of things the fans were either complaining about or wanted to see. For instance, I just finished a dual class race, which we'd tried to do several times in GTCC, but now it's a thing, not just a hack that everyone agrees upon doing for a specific race.

To be fair, T10 managed to work that into one of the post-release updates for Forza 3 as well. Loads of fun, and I bet it works much better with 12-16 car grids instead of 8.

Just as a heads up - that Gamespot list doesn't include the cars that they offer to you that are part of the day 1 DLC. For example - Level 5 offers you like 3 extra muscle cars. Nice that they are throwing in DLC as rewards this time around.

the Marketplace also has a section for Track Packs! Better end up not just being the Benchmark and Top Gear Soccer field forever. Has Turn 10 hinted at all about adding new tracks besides saying that they take a year to make or whatever?

My favorite new thing is that you still get experience and spacebucks after DNF-ing in multiplayer. Getting my dick knocked in during a race and then having the added insult of not getting a single drat thing for it. I was losing races left and right yesterday, and I still wound up gaining 8 levels and getting half-price parts for like 3 different manufacturers.

Cool, thanks for that. I never would have picked that thread title as the location for this info. (also, thanks Microsoft for making your sites the only sites in the world that don't work right in Firefox. Truly innovative.)

I'm with Falken though - I'm not going down to Scum Class levels of rotation just for a few Forzabucks.

Strange. I asked the guy about it last night and he said he didn't know of any way he could put it on the receipt, was pretty sure it'd show up in my email.

I bought it around 6:30pm Pacific last night, so hopefully it shows up before the 24-hour mark, otherwise I guess I'll just call/email Best Buy.

I also picked the Cosworth. The only car(s) I'm going to pick based on price will be the expensive rear end Ferrari's and Lambo's. Other than those, I'll be picking whatever piques my interest.

Same. I wish they had the sedan though! I was going to buy one yesterday but got the e28 M5 instead as an impulse buy. Drop the e36 m3 in some Rival races though.

Well, the difference for me is my real one is a convertible (5-speed manual transmission), while the one in Forza is the Euro-spec Coupe (6-speed manual transmission).

But they are pretty similar cars--the one in Forza has slightly more horsepower, and the 6-speed transmission is a bit easier to handle than 5-speed.

Masochists like me make it a goal to buy every single car in the game, so figuring out which ones are more expensive saves a lot of time and effort.

Yeah, that's why I pick whatever I want. But someone posted some link that says what each reward car is worth. The only problem being every car you get is worth 100 credits.

It's better to pick the 8,000,000 reward car that sells for 100credit from your garage but would cost you 8mil to buy.

Well looking at the list, the only reward car that you really need to pick is the level 30 reward:

1967 Ferrari 330 P4 - 9,000,000

Everything else is either 1-2 million or cost the same as the others in its class.

I fell in love with the West Circuit on Twin Ring in Forza 3 and I'm so glad it's back this game. I'm not sure what it is about that tiny little circuit, but it's incredibly intense every single lap. If you don't know what I mean, go play the Civic event in Event Mode with the '07 Type R and pick that circuit. 6 laps of joy.
