Probably a Mexican movie.

Strenuous Manflurry posted:Nope, sadly. But the Bryan and Vinny show, which is up tomorrow I think, should be free and pretty drat amazing. I'm listening now and they're doing a segment by segment comparison between this week's Raw and the one with Jeremy Piven and Ken Jeong as GM's from 2009, so it's off to a great start. And yeah, it's a free show. Edit: oh God, they just mentioned that was the show where HHH lost a 2-on-1 match to Rhodes and DiBiase, then suddenly flicked a switch, sold the beatdown by going "Ow! Ow! That sure hurt." and started cutting a comedy promo that eventually led to another DX reunion. That show really gave last night's a run for its money. Was the next week the one where they did the skit about Triple H finding Michaels working at a food court and then Michaels superkicked a little kid? Because that poo poo was incredible. e: And I just realized that it was the start of the last run of Michaels's career.

Every time Michaels has superkicked a random person, it's been amazing. gently caress his classic matches with Undertaker, his last run should have just been going around superkicking random people.

The B & V show where they compared it to the 2009 Raw was nice because it is a good example of the show having an extended period of bad being followed by a pretty good post-Survivor series that had that almost-awesome build to Raw that just started a couple weeks too early (and John Cena/Batista and Undertaker/HBK was so good that I can forgive Bret vs Vince/Edge vs Jericho derailing).

Dynamite Dave Meltzer, in today's daily update posted:Just a note that the Hall of Fame issue of the Observer will be out on Wednesday. It will be the biggest issue of the year with several major bios. To get the speculation going, there were three people voted into the Hall of Fame this year. Who all was a first-time nominee this year? I think Dr. Death was really close last year so he might have gotten the extra push in, but I don't know who the other two might have been.

Well, it depends on your age. Dave has said that the Australian territory completely died in the mid-70s. Cena is a lock. Brock Lesnar is also going on the ballot too. Tanahashi should eventually get in. He won't, because the people who vote for Japan are going to compare him to the previous generation of stars, when he is working with no magazines, one TV show airing at 3 AM, and the complete destruction of his company by Inoki's fascination with making shootfights. He is so far and away the biggest star in Japan for his generation. Nakamura, Marufuji, CIMA barely come close.
