Somebody really needs to start a third group, I know there are several goons not even in a club yet. I'm guessing in a month or two though most of the casuals will be gone and we can probably all consolidate to one club though. Sorry I never respond to you guys while we're playing, my girlfriend is usually sleeping right behind me and she works normal people hours.

I like my Trans-Am. Even with TCS off it's rather grippy and dosen't seem to go all over the place like most of the muscle but it's sluggish accelerating out of corners, which is a bitch on most of the twistier tracks like Mugello.

How competitive online are some of the already upgraded cars that career mode throws at you? I have a shitload of cars and money now and I'm just wondering whether it's worth fiddling with some of them for online, or just starting from scratch for some classes.

The only ones that I found competitive were the McLaren F1 & McLaren MP4-12C at S700. Admittedly I haven't tried all of the level up cars the game has given me, but at anything less than S700 level the auto-upgrades haven't been good enough against other people. Take them back to stock & then upgrade them yourself.

They're alright, but if it's a car I actually like and want to use I'll remove the pre-tune and upgrade it on my own. I found they don't typically have any/many tire upgrades performed so that's one of the first things I'll change

I'm new to this series, and enjoying it so far. I just did a spec race with nothing but stock Hemi 'Cudas, and it was glorious. Anyway, I keep seeing references to drag racing. Is that actually in the game, and if so, where do I find it?

The auto-upgraded cars aren't upgraded well for online racing. You are going to want much more emphasis on handling. There is a balance that must be achieved in every class and the auto-upgrade cars universally go too far on the power side. I'm glad they auto-upgrade the cars though because they work great against the AI. It's nice to not have to spend a dime on cars for singleplayer.

I made my first serious effort at a design: (Just now I noticed the little corner above the tail light that I missed.) The Subaru font was the hardest part of it, and it still isn't perfect. I felt like I was starting to go blind by the end though. I ended up using the provided decals for the sponsors, that's a level of detail that is beyond me. I did make the SPT logo in the front of the car though. It felt really good to see that someone bought it off of the store front. Doing this made me appreciate the effort that someone like Sunday Punch takes to get them perfect. It is based off of this car, but I tend to use the number 13 on all my cars going back to Forza 1. All of my upgraded cars, except for one, totally suck for online racing. It's all good though, I'll figure it out. For some reason they're all slow as gently caress.

The motherfucking Bel-Air!? Unexpected awesome! Guess I gotta grab this car pack. Too bad it comes with a bunch of cars I'll never drive. Oh well. VV I never got any of them in 4, just the Spirit in 3. But there's a Game With Devs today, so I'll pester whoever I meet about it. If you're anything like me you'll probably spend more time painting your cars than racing them! I wish boardering for letters was easier, but this is as close as I can do for now. Things missing: hood pins, exhaust holes in the rear of the car, and that stupid bird decal on the rear quaters that I aint even gonna try. I've had every GT game since the PSX, what's taking/took them so long to get damage, custom paintjobs, and buyable body kits. Every other racing game had them for years but noooo. I still love GT5, though.

I was a sucker for that kind of thing. I brought every car pack for both Forza and TDU. This time however I think I'm gonna use the new ability to buy individual cars. Because who needs those fifty other R3's that come in a pack. There's no room to tweak those!

I was a consumer whore for FM2 DLC, but by the time FM3 came out I was pretty much "done" hoovering DLC.. I didn't buy a single car pack, I just made do with the free car they gave out as incentive to download the set. I never felt like I was missing out on a significant feature of the game, especially considering I drove barely half the cars that shipped on disc.

I bought a design off the storefront with painted rims and noticed that different aftermarket rims affect the color of the painted on design differently. Some were brighter, some duller, etc. You might just need to experiment with different rim options.

I'm having more fun with FM4 in a day, then I did with GT5 in a year. GT5 has some cool stuff, and i'm just saying what everyone already knows, but that game is nothing but half baked and unfinished ideas. It's even more apparent after playing FM4. The career mode in FM4 is so good.

There's no motion blur, but the sense of speed in Forza 4 is amazing. I will give one nod to GT5 though and that their track list is much better, especially now that they released spa. Turn 10 needs to get on that poo poo. :P

I think GT5s version of the Nurbergring and Indianapolis is superior, but I really like American road courses and FM4 fills that perfectly. It just needs a few more real world tracks and it'll be great.
