Hey guys want some toy Gumperts?

Was playing earlier and started thinking, what mistakes if any, have you found while playing Forza, whether it be with the cars or tracks?

For example:
-The 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary has the wrong wheels. (Regular Camaro wheels as opposed to 35th Anniversary wheels)

-Last time I played a NASCAR game was probably 8 years ago so it might have changed but I remember NASCAR stock cars having 4 gears, not 6

What else is out there? I'm really curious.

So I made a Camping World Truck Series setup for us Goons to race. It's called Goonsmen Trucks, it's in strefront. Just search Goonsmen and make the make GMC Trucks.

e: If you're in GISH, theres one in the garage.

I don't know about anyone else, but for me, it was hard to have fun playing GT5. After enjoying GT4 so much, the jump to 5 just seemed off for some reason.

I find Forza 4 to be a much more enjoyable game to play because I don't have to gently caress about trying to find this or that option in some retarded menu, and I don't have to wait for a specific car to show up in the used car lot so I can complete a race series.

I never played GT5 online, but the single player mode between these two games isn't even a competition, Forza blows GT away.

They do have 4 gears. You're probably using an upgraded prize car that has the 6 gear race transmission.

It's this place called Simulation 1 Systems in Markham, here's their website:

You can probably pre-order the CSR stuff at their warehouse location. Also if you do go please give the guy there poo poo for not updating the pay-pal payment option yet, as everything's still in USD even though I told them that it makes no sense (all the prices on the website are in CDN). Or don't tell them poo poo and just order once the CDN dollar recovers a bit.

EDIT They told me that they're a "Certified Fanatec Dealership" but on the website it stats that they don't sell their products to retailers and everything is only available through the webstore... maybe that isn't the case for Canada since otherwise we'd have to pay duties out the rear end?

I'm going to go ahead and remove myself from GISH. I still want to get in on goon races from time to time, but between Dark Souls, Battlefield 3, and yet another Mass Effect playthrough, I'm just not playing enough Forza and it sounds like people are waiting for open spots. I still have some of you on my friend list so it shouldn't be too hard to get in to goon races from time to time, I imagine.

Race more E class, too.

Like the Fiesta's rear window wiper fluid nozzle not being modeled or textured. Unless the Euro version didn't have one or something.

I did get a kick out of the fact that the aftermarket front and rear bumpers you can buy for it are actually the US-spec ones, though!

I wouldn't get too excited unless there's confirmation of it being legit. There are save editors in the wild already, so if liveries are stored similarly to how they were on older versions it should be possible to insert just about any image you want. The only question is how long it takes T10 to notice and grab the banhammer.

But yeah, the SuperGT in Japan, I think, is the best racing series that exists right now. It's very competitive and has some very close racing. The only problem is there is no english commentary, but it's still a lot of fun to watch.
