How exactly does the timing of the auctions work? When someone bids does it add 60 seconds to the auction? is there a limit to how many times the auction can be extended?

From what I've seen, every time someone bids with under a minute left, the auction clock gets reset to 60 seconds when that bid is accepted. I've seen auctions with "less than a minute" remaining run for another 10 minutes, so I haven't figured out if there's a limit once a bidding war starts at the end of an auction.

The monthly Rivals events updated, but unfortunately it's only the monthly ones. Looks like they'll be the only ones that change. I know it was basically guaranteed the others wouldn't change, but a bit more variety would have been nice.

After doing a few track days, I've noticed the AI gets somewhat predictable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZqew4tEnCk Seems to always be an outside-inside-outside line through the corners. (Although this might have been a little more luck than skill)

No, it is possible especially with repeated lapping to build up a really good model of how the AI react during the passing sections. With a decent car on a good track, it can be a zenlike state. Then your finger itches and it's the worst thing in the world. Nurburg at least needs the AI to stay to the right as required on public days. I can't help but do my hardest to pass on the left, and while it's good exercise it's harder than it has to be.

I've noticed that too. Road America is another one that they are really predictable on. They all line up to cut early to the inside of every corner, then swing wide on exit. If you do the opposite, and find a gap near the apex to shoot through, it's no problem passing large packs of them.

After a few minutes it says it's been successfully uploaded but where the gently caress are they?

Once you hae a regular picture uploaded, go to the gallery and on the right it will have your large file.

I'm still hoping that someone with much more artistic talent than myself comes up with some sort of livery based on this logo: Preferably, focusing on the purple and orange more than the green, and preferably on a fun car (Datsun 510, Fairlady Z, BMW 2002, or similar). Willing to pay good Forza Fun Bucks for it.

New rivals monthly challenges are up and I already miss my little Starter Car Open ForzaBucks Generator. Tricky one there Turn10 adding the Aventador event to give us one more nudge to pony up the cash for the pack/season pass, but it's a good way to showcase the new content. pvax fucked around with this message at 18:08 on Nov 4, 2011 |

I can't even afford the cool cars yet so the best I could do is drop a modern engine in a Gullwing. I'll be happy to participate, but these rules are a bit rough.

So I can finally connect to races and I see that I wasn't missing anything. Race 1: 5 people racing LMPs who can't drive for poo poo, Me in an E30 just trying to have a nice drive, some shitlord in a Toureg who was a good driver, but he was using it to ram me off the track like a 5 year old. Race 2: 4 people racing ALMS cars who can't drive for poo poo, Me in an S class RWD Aventador wins 1st place [for the record I suck so this is amazing] Race 3 More dumbass LMPs, but this time with someone yelling racist things at another player because they had a hot mic GT5 seems to have way more serious racing in my opinion. I can't wait until all the people move to whatever ADHD game comes out next.

Maybe kick everyone level 20 or below that doesn't post in this thread asking not to be kicked. Also if no one beats me too it I think I'll try and look up membership numbers for all goon clubs and then post them here with additional details such as regional details for any homeless goons out there still looking for a club. LLJK: 100 members; Mostly American time zones. GISH: 92 members; Mostly American time zones. GTCC: 37 members; Mostly American? time zones. SAEG: 57 members; Mostly European time zones. AFGS: ? members; Mostly Asian/Australian time zones. Couldn't find AFGS membership info yet if someone could fill it in that would be great.
