I'm loving in love with the trackday events in Rivals mode as well. I am/was in the top 100 on Hockenhiem and the Nurburgring. It took me two loving days EACH to set a clean lap on both Nurburgring and Fujimi Kaido. My favorite is when those rear end in a top hat AI cars go three-wide into a corner and you have to sit behind them and wait so you can pass. Also on Fujimi they love to drive into the side of your car if you get too close. I set my fast track day lap on the Nurburgring in the Lotus Evora, now I see they have the Lotus Evora T124. No doubt I can set a better lap time in the T124, god drat am I dreading trying. EDIT: I just checked the leaderboards, I've been dropped hard on both events, 218 for Hockenhiem and 132 for the 'ring. I am 103rd on the Silverstone event though

So... gotta ask. Any news on what the new car pack is going to bring? Last one was announced a week ahead of time I believe. Now, we are two days away, and we've got nothing. I want to know what my season pass will bring me next. (Here is hoping for minimal supercars, maximum fun to drive cars.)

A month ago I didn't know anything about cars, nor did I care to. Today I rubberneck like crazy, identifying cars and hoping to see another Dodge Challenger. I love Challengers now. Why? drat it, this game. When I first started playing I thought all the driving assists were fictional game-specific tweaks. After all, "Traction Control" is in the same list as "Brake Assist", "Rewind", and "Put magic arrows on the road". I know better now, but keep flip-flopping back and forth with my settings. I wish I could toggle TCS on the fly, or perhaps on a per-car basis. I want my Stratos to slide around but I can't keep an S2000 on the road without it enabled. After spending two hours trying to put a stripe on my car, I gave up. I have no idea how y'all do that so well.

I stopped in at Best Buy to pick up some compressed air today and played a little bit of NFS Rush that they had on display. Now I dont know if it was the lovely Sony tv they were using, but that game looks like garbage. I know not to expect too much from NFS games, but really, it looked bad. Glad i did not spend the money this year on their game. On another note, I havent seen Jabs around lately, or i have not been checking enough, but is there a regular goon car race wednesday thats not the GTCC guys? The last one we had was fun, but knowing car specs more that a day in advance helps guys like me who cannot tune.

I just have to hope they asked IGN's resident car guy, and he isn't horrible. But, any cars given to Turn-10 still ultimately come down to what Turn-10 is actually able to get permission to scan into the game.

My roommate's brother traded in his Audi and got one. The thing is fast. Not quite Grand Cherokee SRT-8 level of "thank god there are headrests" fast, but it is very close. And it ate up gravel roads without a complaint. If it wasn't 75% F-150 components and didn't look quite as retarded, I'd consider getting one.

Holy poo poo. There is no way in hell that this car pack can be real. I have never seen so many awesome cars thrown into one DLC pack before. Old VW, old Alfa, old loving Massarati, and holy poo poo, a poor mans Ferrari. Also, the one supercar, is a Massarati which makes me happy as gently caress. So glad I have season pass.
