Also that's the worst Track Day driving I've ever seen, holy poo poo. e: Falken you might be interested in this one Spaceman if you can find high-res photos of that Mustang, PM me or post them in this thread. Does anyone here know if the unicorn cars are saved to your gamertag or somewhere outside of your xbox hard drive? or are recoverable at all? I had 2 of them. The Ferrari F430 Scuderia, and the Lamborghini Superleggera I think. Last weekend my Xbox was stolen from my apartment and I've had no luck in getting it back. (My copy of Forza 4 was still in the drive as well)

i don't get what was wrong with the original idea of moving SAEG & LLJK into GTCC; there's literally zero need to create this new "Auger" or w/e club. like i'm sure we all very much appreciate your enthusiasm something awful forum poster "jabs" but i'd like to race on a sunday arvo without the soul-crushing autism of applying an array of listed emblems, colours matched by pantone ref. etcetera, which - and bear with me here because this is a projectional 'pataphor which you may fail to get due to your position on "the spectrum" - is pretty much what we're expecting to happen so yeah, in short who died and made you bernie loving ecclesperg?

I'm kinda agreeing with Scatterfold; people wanna play Skyrim or some poo poo let them eat cake, they paid for both games so don't cry when they want to play the other one too. When GTCC has low attendance for our weekly races we just start shooting out invites like it's going out of style. That or we just pile into a lobby and do Bentron's famous dice racing shlick and there's GTCC, LLJK, GISH guys in our lobbies all the time. I mean it's not our fault that AUGR™ can't use a loving friends list. vv Cojawfee posted:Yeah GTCC is for people who prefer serious business racing while listening to some guy describe (in detail) what happens to the other dude's penis during gay sex in the missionary position. GO AWAY MINIMAUL bumperstickers, $5. Shirts, $15. Dildos, $999.

ANAmal.net posted:Not to be all serious business about internet racecars, but GTCC isn't supposed to be the generic goon group, and it's not the overflow for people who missed getting into LLJK. It's a club for bros to crash into Phancypants every Wednesday and make dick joke. Dudes have been racing together for years, and while new members are certainly encouraged, we'd rather have a smaller club whose members are more active, than a full one where 90% of them are playing Skyrim all the time. If folk want to join for our weekly homoerotic book club, that's cool, but don't just pile in because the other clubs are dead, that's not how GTCC works. Volunteer hobby groups are run by people who volunteer to run them. If they suck at running them, people don't have any fun and quit for greener pastures. If they don't suck at it, everyone has a great time. Easy Peasy. That said, the Wednesday Night Spec Races are entirely my deal, and not a "Goon Racing Club" deal. I tried the Wednesday Races just once as a test, to see how it'd go. It went (and is still going) well, so I decided to keep doing them. Don't like the format of the one-hour-per-week race? Don't participate in it. Go race with GTCC. Go race with pubbies. Go do clean laps of the 'ring. Whatever. Go forth, have some loving fun, man. Jeez. Isn't that what it's all about? Strawman argument trying to combine: * The Wednesday Race I run (which is based around "Forza-Simming" a real world series rulebook) with: * Setting up a Goon Car Club (and garage) that's actively maintained, unlike LLJK (for sure) and GISH (reportedly) are currently. So, yeah.

That's all well and good but what about the downtrodden european folks I'd guess there's probably still enough EU people in SAEG to keep it going if people are willing to dedicate a day for forza (god knows enough games came out recently that this is harder than it sounds), but it's pretty confusing atm working out who plans on racing with whom. I don't care who I end up with as long as it involves cool dudes and cool time(zone)s.

Forza's netcode always fails in the most spectacular ways, and it's been that way since Forza 2 at least. Hovercar is the safer of the two possibilities. Teleportcar is the most destructive by far.

Maybe Jabs should start a thread for his series? Anyway, I love all the "simmed" spec poo poo, so I'm happy. I made a quick USTCC logo this morning and it's in my storefront if anyone wants/needs one. I've got an American Iron logo in there too that I imported from FM3 for future races. Also, I'd happily take an invite to AUGR GT: Boaz MacPherson

I joined augr because at the moment, lljk is kinda dead due to the leadership being AWOL. All LLJK needed was new leadership, a massive purge, and an absorbtion of GISH. Of course, then everyone left for AUGR so I figured gently caress it. There are people there so it will be nice to get into a group that has a concentration of goons racing.

I went on vacation for a week, then thanksgiving week plus Skyrim. I came back after they finally patched the 900° issue to a dead club so I joined AUGR. I can't do the scheduled races because 10pm EST is too late for me. I can't use a mic because the jack on my fanatec wheel makes a bunch of static, but I love jumping in and just doing whatever races with people who aren't pubbies. I also need people to race in rivals mode. GT: Xenu00

GTCCCCCccCcc has the right idea w/ offsite forums. Really, you just need basic forums where you can post upcoming races or whatever, I guess. Although, in all honesty, you can simulate a forum using a Google Docs spreadsheet.

I'd be surprised if we actually fill AUGR, so I'd say they're welcome to pile in if those clubs are looking dead, too.
