I don't know why I didn't think to sign up to this thread earlier when the game came out, but now I'm reporting for duty. Added my name to the spreadsheet and hoping to add/find some fellow Forza goons. Already part of a club that I don't really want to leave, and not terribly interested in Rivals mode so much anymore, so I'll probably just start adding folks at random who tend to have weekday evenings/Sunday evenings free as I scroll through the spreadsheet. I play with the MS wheel and am not too shabby on my own lapping or against the AI, but I tend to rely on the braking line and have little experience vs. real people, so I tend to bump folks on the corners if they brake earlier than I do. (especially since I prefer lightweight cars with good brakes) ninja edit: #forzagoons on synIRC? I'm there.

When I set up an RSX it came out around 550ish. I tried messing around with the Evo X with the same restrictions and the PI was around the same, maybe slightly higher. It sounds like you still have the stock power and weight configuration though, I believe the way this is set up you should have some room to add power or reduce weight a great deal. My tuned RSX is kind of terrifying to drive. I didn't realize it was even possible to turn a FWD car into a barely controllable deathtrap. I think something's a bit off though, it's sliding out of control any time I dare to hit the brakes while I'm not going in a straight line. I said come in! posted:I'm disappointed that I can't upgrade the Suzuki Monster to 998 or close. That doesn't seem to make it very competitive with the other R1's. The lack of upgrades relegates the Monster to GT-esque one-offness. It starts out just over 900, and only has brakes and tires, taking it nowhere close to 998. It's a real waste of a car. The Raptor can be modded with baja rally style tire in the trunk and floodlights up front. It looks way more badass than Forza actually has tracks for, unfortunately. The Escort might be the star of the show. Freaking tape over the headlights. it just screams amateur racing league.

Ya so I guess I read through it way too quickly and have a lot of room left... So ill change it and see how crazy it feels. Ya for more tuning. Plus I may clean up my design a little tonight, although it is so tedious it drives me crazy.

The way the game works, sim damage should not let you roll over ever. Limited and cosmetic have magic flip mode on.

Why is the RX8 in a class for front wheel drive vehicles? Also if it matters, most racing organizations m ultiply the displacement of the RX cars by 3 (from 1.3 to 3.9) when classifying them for performance. It really should be racing against the m3s and hyundai genesis.

Even with the 9.55 multiplier I only have 324 horsepower and a pi of 517 or something around there. Maybe im doing something wrong, but I am in the 1:14.xxx range for lap times. Maybe thats a better scale? I dont know what the answer is, but im sure as heck no where near 550 pi, unless I try adding weight back in and adding hp.

I've got three cars that are modified, but not necessarily perfect. One at 543PI / 227 HP / 2169 pounds One at 579PI / 461 HP / 4406 pounds One at 532PI / 318 HP / 3244 pounds All of them run about 3:15ish on the Camino Viejo Extreme track (the one with the switchbacks)

So my Xbox forced me to update and now, the loving thing can't connect to live so I might be hosed for the race for tomarrow, as well as hosed until I go home for winter break in a week and a half. Also, the dashboard looks like poo poo now. Thanks a lot Microsoft. In other news, thank God I got the DLC downloaded before this. Edit: And by the great Goon Gods, my connection has magically been restored not 5 seconds after posting this. # ? Dec 7, 2011 06:45 |
Mine was a good hour and a half, with a second update that took forever after the first. Then it wouldn't connect, but now it seems to be fine. Also, just noticed that Xbox has added a cloud drive server for saving. Gotta say, pretty win. Shame it didn't come a few days earlier so that goon that had his 360 stolen wouldn't have lost his saves, assuming he would have transferred them over that is. He probably wouldn't.

Full Reverse has two corners that you just absolutely CANNOT make a mistake on (and neither can anyone around you) 48 times (1:15 pace for an hour) in a row, or you're 2/3 lap away from the pit, and your car can be totally broken. That sounds horrible. I'm open to suggestions on an alternate, or whoever shows up can vote then and there, either way... Kenny Rogers fucked around with this message at 08:55 on Dec 7, 2011 |

So, I haven't played in a long while, LLJK is self destructing, and I get to drive this pile of poo poo. Kidding, shits hilarious to drive, its almost like driving a hummer. I really like driving the Suzuki they put in but by default it caps out at 160 but I don't have the time right now to tune it to anything useful for anything other sprint tracks. ps i need to quit driving the awful cars

Kinda of a shame about the clubs thing but at least (hopefully) AUGR will be comprised of the active members of GISH and LLJK. Unfortunately I (GT: AdamH1mself) won't be able to transfer until January since I'm in Germany all month long. This means I'll be missing out on a whole month of Rivals Anyone care to tell me what they have lined up for December? Also lol at the loving my club your club drama, I guess we are just a bunch of children. All I want is a club with active membership,

I dont mind extreme, but depending on attendance, it's so big it's just going to turn into everyone hot lapping by themselves.
