I'm glad we got the 787B sooner rather than later, and the Quattro was a suprise I wasn't expecting. Here's hoping they can be both be tuned to the top of their respective classes, I'm still bitter about the F40 Competizione having lovely aero and not being able to reach the top of R2. I'm still glad I didn't buy the season pass though, this is the only pack so far I've seen that's made me go "oh holy poo poo I need that".

The 787B and Audi look awesome, not so excited about the rest. I really want to do a silly repaint of the Dodge "Rampage" whalemobile. Though I'm not expecting the marketplace to have many vinyls of unicorns and rainbows and dolphins and such to work with

It's called the American LeMans pack but how many of those cars have actually competed in the ALMS? Good pack none the less

The '93 already in the game feels barely more powerful than a standard v8 Mustang of the same year; this one might be more fun to sling around a track.

Ummm, hella late buyer here. Is LLJK still the standard car club for gooooooons? Right now I just want to have a nice beefy roster for rivals and some people to watch for in multiplayer.

The main goon club for Americans is AUGR, LLJK is pretty dead now, I think.

DIRT3 had a classic mini, plus a few small bargain-bin games have had them in recently, so I'm hoping the days of that have passed? BMW have been quite forgiving recently with classic mini use. Trouble is, if T10 were only putting a single mini in... Classic mk1? modern 2000 1.3MPI? Clubman GT? Or even the ERA TURBO? I just... I want them all. All of them

I really hope that Turn 10 will do a 93 Mustang LX Notch/Coupe. Should be somewhat easy to model since most of the work has been done with the Hatchback version.

The real life drivers are Cylons or something. Its probably not that great in real life, but I dont think the games fov will ever be like sitting in the real thing. Plus the 908 had fancy rearview cameras and stuff. Tbf they arent too bad to drive at Lemans but at a circuit like mugello I had a hard time figuring out where the front wheels were half the drat time. The older closed cars seem to have a bigger greenhouse, which makes it easier to see out of.

The real life drivers are Cylons or something. Do any of these games actually figure out the proper eye level x-y-z position and so on? In Forza 4 it's pretty obvious they just sat all the cockpit cameras at whatever was required to bring the speedometer and steering wheel logo and top of the ceiling into view at the same time (which is sort of extreme), and I can remember at least one other driving game where you could literally see the border around your helmet visor at the edge of the screen, which is just silly. Obviously it's going to be off no matter what because you have to have a wider field of view in the game to simulate peripheral vision, but there are some cars in F4 where it looks like the actual camera position couldn't possibly be located within the physical boundaries of the cockpit, either that or the cockpit is rendered entirely seperately in some sort of ultra wide FOV and then the game rendering is done at normal levels and drawn in the open windshield space. Sperging out over cockpit cameras aside, don't the drivers in those cars have spotters and pit crews feeding them information for the whole race? I imagine that does a lot for situational awareness in a cramped race car.

Due to it being a roval its easy to see the whole track, wheras a normal circuit this would be impossible.
