Holy patch notes, Batman! Major relic system changes and some interesting class balance stuff: http://darkageofcamelot.com/article/pendragon-patch-notes-1112 Yay Mentalist love! Also, magic resist buffs (druid and warden) are being bumped up a bit for the blue and yellow versions. Sadly, the patch also means that Dun Cult will have to move to a new keep once this goes live. I'd like nGed, personally.

I've got level 39 Runie that's doing pretty well in the BGs. Is there any particular reason why I shouldn't just pick up his level 50 template and wear that up to 50? I don't feel like temping for 39, retemping for the 49 thing, and finally retemping again for 50.

Well for one you can't activate most artifacts until 45, and some of the stuff for his level 50 template won't effect you before 50. You have to delve the item and find out what the bonus level is on it. I know for my runemaster template about half of it wouldn't work before 50.

For anyone who didn't notice already, the Spring quests are back until the 16th! Good luck finding the bunny for the Medal of Honor/Springtime Folly bracer quest. It has been a dirty little ninja hiding on Agramon or just not spawning for a while. Also, Agramon is massively zergy. Even Hibs had a zerg:

Other BGs will just wait at one spawn point until the Harbinger appears there. The Harbinger will only appear at a new spawn point after it was killed at one of the other spots, though, so it could be a while before it changes locations. We got lucky earlier today and killed it 4 or 5 times within an hour, and then the BG ended up waiting 2 hours for the next spawn. You don't actually need a BG for the kill, as the Harbinger seems to be pretty low level for a purple mob. Mostly you just have to worry about other realm groups running over you.

I am tentatively thinking of getting back into this in a very casual fashion. So much nostalgia for this game its unbelievable. If there are any really old gawaine or guinievere players in this thread do you remember broderskapet on gawaine/mid or raz'xi on hib/Guin? The last time I tried to get back Into playing this I was turned off from having to relearn everything so thinking if I do play again making a new character to relearn how to play would be a good idea since apparently blade masters are rear end now.

I played alb/guin for far too long. I'd probably remember some hib names, you know, like Tyfud and stuff. Also, this game is pretty loving casual now. I wouldn't be worried about anything. We have plenty of guys in guild willing to get old vets up to speed. I'll even give you some items if you need, but you get EVERYTHING you need while leveling up. It's great!

We ran a 8 man group. Majority of the time it was with bard, two druids, warden, two hero's and two blademasters before we started doing a caster group. Ediron was our bard, bushiro our main assist. I played Mosvani the blademaster. We used to get cheating accusations all of the time, and someone even posted a supposed picture of our route one time which was great haha. I'll see if I can find it. My biggest time problem is that I'm a truck driver now and drive teams with my wife. So my connection is spotty at best, and this isnt the most stable of environments to play in so I cant react very fast anymore. I also really need to get a drat mouse for this laptop as it blows trying to play it with the track pad. Ah well, kind of dinkering with the free trial off and on. Havent managed to play more then maybe 40 minutes so far so not really sure it will end up being worth me reactivating.

Did a trial on my old account. Have a 50 blademaster and 50 enchanter on Ywain1 (I had did a trial last year sometime and put them there ) On Mid side I have a 50 healer, spiritmaster, runemaster, savage. Not sure I'll stick around past the trial but hopefully I'll have some fun while messing around.

I played on Gawaine/Mid. I remember Broderskapet. I was Latsoul the Troll Shaman (I still have him, actually) in Waelwulfas. I actually lost my job the day DAoC was released, and since it was so close to 9/11 it was a long time coming to catch on elsewhere. So I poured myself into this game. If I wasn't the first level 50 Shaman on Gawaine, I was drat close. So many good times were had back then. Good to see someone around from my old server.

I'm going to be hitting up Live here soon. (Burnt out on Uthgard) Should I abuse trial accounts and run a farm train in the 40-44 BG? 250g per run iirc. Multiplied by 5-6 clients, it's a lot of work but decent cash flow. Or can someone set me up on Hib? Even a low end template is ridiculously expensive. Thinking of making a Hero or a caster. What would you guys recommend?

If you were going to do a farming train type deal you're better off doing glass quests, with speed and dps you can do all 4 stygia quests in about 15 minutes and its about 900g per person for all 4. So 5.4p per run if you do 6 clients.
