the language is bad b/c it was never meant to be a language. no one would think to write a complex thing in vbscript and javascript is like the same thing. it was never designed to do what it does now and its evolution is a direct result of lovely web "developers" not realizing it was meant to be replaced by something better.

never really looked at sublime text before because the default theme looks like every osx text editor ever and they don't do things like list the features

downloaded it and wow it's pretty nice

a month ago i got a recruiter contact about a web dev position and the recruiter sent me an employer questionnaire with a question that was more or less "why is nodejs generally recognized as the coolest new technology around?" i had never heard of nodejs before so that was my first run-in with its fans
