Found the canyon. If anyone else wants directions to the place, it's to the left of the catacombs and before the lady thieves.

It'll probably work fine but I don't think getting a sorcerer pawn is a very good idea in general, since it doesn't sound very fun for them to randomly wipe out all the enemies with one of their big attack spells.

Update: My main found an awesome mace that's name starts with an O in some random chest. So I switched to Mystic knight. Quickly realized I am terrible with melee and ditched the mace for my staff. Now I am a mage with metal armor and a shield. much better.

I also figured out that if you upgrade your class before buying all the upgrades for your crossover skills that you have to go back to the first class to buy the upgrades. Garfunkel will have the upgraded fire boon and fire wall spells finally.

Now that I am a knight and Garfunkel is starting to mature as a sorcerer. I mixing up my two borrowed pawns a bit as well. I added some people from the list in the second post and Bear has been frontlining for me ever since. I still need someone to heal so if you've got a good support mage then friend me on xbox so I can send you some sour scrags of meat

I did the math and to buy all the parts of the Guts the Black Swordsman's (or "Swordsman") gear set will set you back 397,450 gold :psyduck:. Griffith the White Hawk, for those with a more frugal (and wussier) budget, can get his whole gear set for a low low price of 389,120 gold.

For those who want to be Berserk characters, uhhh.... stick to Casca until you start raking in the cash.

That's not absolutely insane, I'm level 26 and today I went from almost zero gold to 160,000 in about five hours or playing. Gransys has major MAJOR inflation problems in its currency, compared to other fantasy RPG worlds.

Yeah, I'm doing a quest right now to kill oxen of all things that pays out 75,000k but the thing is that I could go back to Gran Soren and outfit my entire party with top of the line gear for that amount of money. Hell yes, finally I can run around with all of the augments I want for my assassin from fighter and strider, and I have a bunch of second level skills for sword and bow. Also my sword is permanently on fire.

I should actually start doing the main quest now I guess. But before that, does anyone know where golems spawn? I need to kill a few more of them so I can get a third level flaming sword thinger.

Also upgrading is interesting, because if you have everything you need for the third level upgrade you can just skip the first two.

Game....Blouses.
For you guys going Warrior at what rank are you switching from fighter? I'm wondering if there are any augments you're bringing over from fighter. Since warrior's can't use 1-handed swords or shields I don't think they actually have any common skills that both fighters and warriors get so the only thing you'd consider carrying over is augments, correct?

My pawn is a giant murder woman warrior that wielded a huge hammer named Lilly (the woman, not the hammer. possibly). She's been rented out a few times already, about three people every hand full of hours of play so far. I mostly got somewhat useful stuff, a few healing herbs few rotten fruit though multiple times she has come back with various banners.

Well, just a few moments ago I hit up the inn to heal up and see what she came back with this time. Rotting meat from one guy, a bit of healing from another and from the third guy some arm guards and a two handed sword called the 'Gryphic Victory'...?

...that has over 300 attack power. To what was about a level 20 pawn at the time.

What spells and auguments are you staying in mage to get? I'm level 11, rank 4 Mage and was thinking of switching to sorcerer now.

I got a staff in Gran Soren with fire enchantment that helps tremendously for pesky wolves. DrManiac is right though, stay with mage until you're decently high rank in its vocation because a lot of the spells will transfer over. If you switch to sorcerer then you're basically starting from scratch with access to only the weaker spells. I'm going to hit 9 with mage so that I can get the last two augments and have a steady skillset before switching back to sorc.

That's the quest reward for one of the escort quests. I managed to complete it around that level too. Sell price is like 115k.

I've thought about doing something like that. If there was a pawn I liked; sending their owner a gear upgrade for their pawn as a gift. So that in the future they would be better when I needed them again.

The thing is worth a ton of gold, sell value alone is over 110k.

Okay, so I got the game going and am curious what you guys are looking for in pawns. I was going to go with a modest little mage to watch my warrior's back, but I'm starting to like the idea of a fighter who can help tank for me while I malletize monsters with a mattock.
