A while ago I saw a picture that I really liked. I think it was a shot of Carl Sagan captioned with the phrase "For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love." Does anyone know where I could find it?

I don't have the image, but fwiw the original Sagan quote ends with "preferably in the butt". Hopefully that will help you find it.

A while back there was a series of photoshops of great works of art, focusing on women, from the Renaissance on, but with modern makeup applied to the models. I think there was even a Georgia O'Keefe painting that had a piercing in the flower. It was startling how attractive the models looked when modern fashions were applied to them. Does anybody know where I can find this series? I'm pretty sure it originated on SA.

I found a sketch artist on Tumblr a while ago, shot him/her an email about possibly commissioning a tattoo design, but I lost the Email, lost the URL and now can't find any of their stuff online. I reverse-image searched all the sketches I had saved, but they came back with nothing. I guess they could've deleted their tumblr, (And thus everything on it) but I was hoping someone on here might recognise the work? Here's the imgur gallery: Bunch O' Sketches I'm not actually sure if the second picture in there is the same person, but the style's pretty similar?

Does anyone remember the old Photoshop thread about the Electra Complex children's book? It looked like this (apologies for the "epic fail" image macro, it's the only picture of the original book I could find):  Here was my submission from it, which is incidentally the same page:  Does that thread still exist anywhere in the archives? I can't find it, and I don't know what the book is called. The file on my hard drive says it was created around February '07, so the thread was probably started around that time.

This is a weird request, but I am looking for a picture that I believe was originally posted in a GBS photoshop thread. It was a toaster, but the little thing you push down on the front was the face of the singer Seal. For whatever reason, this image has become one of my favourites, but I got a new computer and I can't find it now. Oh man, I'll be so sad if I never see it again. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

This one's pretty cool because you can actually browse the various subforums, pages and threads several layers deep to get that proper greasy cheeto and dew feel. You might even recognize a few names.  And just to clarify before anyone gets exited, yes, DPPH has been almost entirely cleaned out of images to make this homegroan free, but treat this archive as
