Yeah, he wrote a letter to the Internet basically saying "look guys, I appreciate that you love my stuff so much you want to share it, but it feels weird seeing other people do what they want with it and I'm kind of personally attached to it, so if you wouldn't put it online that'd be cool. Thanks."

I wish he would get over this aversion to the internet and put The Far Side online. Say what you want about Garfield, but with a click of a button you can literally view ANY Garfield strip since the first one. And Jim Davis is clearly not hurting as far as his collection books go.

And for no purpose whatsoever. Aside from Ron Howard, by the time the DVD came out so few people even know who any one of the other floating heads is.

You're quite good at turning me on.

I saw Bear a while ago, and then some time later I saw the episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where they get lost in the woods, and I get them mixed up in my head now.

Not in the slightest; I don't know a person in the world who doesn't have their gravelly Banderas impression mastered for just such occasions (e.g. reading the description on the back of a bag of Salsitas).

Why not use the actual actor, Nolan North? It's his face, body, movement, and voice in the games.

(and Burt Reynolds as Sully)

e: in fact, just do Uncharted without Drake, and have it be a Sully movie.

He's too old and out of shape. And while it was him doing facial movement capture, it's never been a 1-1 replica of his face, Drake has much more chiseled features than Nolan North does. Also, Bruce Campbell as Sully :colbert:

I know fanboys everywhere would just die of happiness if Nathan Fillion were cast as Nate Drake.. but Fillion is WAY too old to be Drake.

Fillion is 41, Drake is in his mid to late twenties.

You see, we like to adapt movies into videogames so we can have fun doing all the cool things the characters do. This isn't to be confused with wanting a videogame adapted into a movie so that we can sit back and watch someone else do all the cool things for us.
