Usually bad movies, where he argues why they're actually good. He's either really entertaining or really boring. He did a break down of Twilight and why it was actually a great move that was pretty entertaining, otherwise if you venture into CD you can just scroll by everything he says and you will miss literally nothing.

This one's from Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Gameboy. If you steal from the shop in the first village, the shopkeeper kills you if you go back into the shop. Also your save file gets the name changed to THIEF and you can't change it back. Here's a video of someone who's bad at the game stealing an item then going back into the shop to get killed. Skip to about 55 seconds if you don't want to see the person flailing around for a while. http://youtu.be/HbUjzYPzHLI

He's a gimmick account used to show how dumb goons are. He writes up a completely bullshit essay analyzing movies while ignoring pretty much every major thing about them and then a page of people will be like "yeah I can see how that makes sense" even though it doesn't at all. It's a test to see what's the dumbest thing he can make them believe before somebody says something. Or he might just be a crazy person.

I remember buying in March 2009. DBlanK made it. I don't quite remember the circumstances, but it was something to do with some celebrity whose wife got injured in a skiing accident. Someone posted that there should be a combination of and , and I said I'd buy a good smiley of that, so DBlanK PMed it to me. I don't remember the name of the celebrity or any of the details, but I remember I was outside a Half Price Books while I was reading the thread. What the hell, brain.

This is an avatar in-joke and not an emoticon one, but can anyone explain the club avatars thing? I've seen a lot of avatars with characters (mostly video-game characters, but I know someone has the Slush Puppy for some reason) standing in front of a generic club background. What's the story there?

What's the story there? It's a fighting game thing. The club is a reference to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLFx8uY6GwY So, with that in mind, when the release of Marvel vs Capcom 3 was coming up, people started making club avatars for characters they were interested in maining, with the comment usually being an in-character statement about clubbing. And it got a decent amount of people on the bandwagon, considering.

What about the hand puppets? I've seen Teddy Roosevelt, Green Lantern, I think Thor, and possibly a couple of others, and one person must have drawn them all. Where'd they come from?

Zemyla posted:What about the hand puppets? I've seen Teddy Roosevelt, Green Lantern, I think Thor, and possibly a couple of others, and one person must have drawn them all. Where'd they come from? Ages ago (4 or 5 years I think), there was a thread in BSS where someone made hand-puppet avatars of various comic book characters, someone better than me with search can probably find it. As far as I know any of them you still see around just haven't changed their avatar since then. With good reason, those things kind of rule. Teddy himself was from a comic book version. edit: I should have looked here first: SAclopedia Puppet Avatars a kitten has a new favorite as of 19:01 on Aug 4, 2012 |
