Probable TFI ignition box failure for the idle problem 'bout 25 bucks and two screws. Find and plug the vacuum leaks and drive the snot out of it!

But NUMBER 1 RULE with systems unless your sh*t sleeping in a garage, DONT SHOW THAT poo poo OFF. There are some JELOUS people out here. Its sad tho too because your car wasnt a BENZ, A BMW. A LEXUS or anything. it was a 1988-1991 toyota. Blue book at 1200. The rims costed more then the car. So word of advice to the music heads out there... SOMETIMES ITS BETTER TO KNOW YOU HAVE MUSIC THEN TO LET EVERYONE KNOW. Thats how I knew he has music, his big self couldnt even fit in the car when he drove by my block playing that scratchy music, tune up your eq buddy your killing your ears. ANYWAY. GODBLESS YOUR CAR MAN. I hope you atleast get the car back.

I bought this car because it was on 2f2f and paid a fortune for it. Please don't make fun of me http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-2F2F-1999-Subaru-Impreza-RS-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ404288440 quote:Please read this carefully. I purchased this car on eBay about six years ago. The pictures you see are what I based my bids on. The car was in the movie 2Fast2Furious. However it came to me in severe disrepair. I paid close to 20,000 to purchase and get it to Canada (shipping and customs were around 4000). So now it is for sale as is. It does not run. My mechanic says that you will need to find a 1999 RS manual and take the wiring harnesses, computer etc... to get it to run. The car's doors are not on the lambo hinges as East Coast Customs removed them for shipping. Body has minor damage, although no rust. I believe it is Stage III Turbo. It has carbon fiber hood, exhaust, tri-coat pearlescent paint, NOS hookup etc... So if you are willing to sink abbout another 4,000 into this car, it can be yours and running for around 10,000! No stupid questions please or insulting messages. Email only if serious about purchasing this project. If you want to see the car in its current condition, make an appt with me.

In one of the FD movies (3 or 4 I think) there's a scene where all the kids are graduating and they get diplomas. After the movie finished shooting, the movie company started auctioning off props including all the diplomas from that scene. My buddy spent like $350 on this diploma and was super excited about it coming in the mail. A few weeks went by and he finally showed up one day fresh from the school post office because his diploma had come in. He opened it up, untied the little string around the diploma...and the sheet was blank. It seems to me these stories are analogous except one spent $350 and one spent $20K.

I'll be honest, I'm impressed in no small part by the number and quality of the pictures, for a CL ad. I'm slightly suspicious about the mileage (either he's selling it shortly after having the timing belt done... or it needs a timing belt immediately) but I've tossed him an email so we'll see what's up with that (and the rear bumper). EDIT: dude responded to inform that he's had it for three years and hasn't done the timing belt. Google seems to indicate that the 120k maintenance interval would run about $550 in parts alone. Barf.
