Kind of a permanent face. "Wait... was that a yaris?" Kind of hard to see the ridiculous tow hook.

Poisonlizard posted:Rusty quarter panel? Aluminum foil to the rescue: That appears to be aluminum tape (the kind you actually use for HVAC ducts as "duct tape" doesn't last worth a poo poo on them). That "repair" is pretty typical on beaters around here as it satisfies the no holes into the passenger compartment rules for inspection.

Got stuck behind a rare and powerful VW "GTIR" today, but wasn't able to get a photo Was smoking quite a bit and doing 55mph in the fast lane on the highway. Going nice and slow to show off his racing stripes, I think.

I've replaced six of these in my car... this is the only one I've seen fail spectacularly. Ignore the extremely hosed up Bilstein spanner wrench. Old H&R coilover collars fused themselves tight.

My boss just got the curtains done (5% limo on every window except the windshield) on his TL and you literally can't see out of the windows on a sunny day if you're wearing sunglasses. It looks cool but I can't imagine that driving any time after dusk would not be a huge hazard.
