The problem is that if you don't eventually destroy the black king's scepter to stop it, then Skaia is just going to get hammered until there's nothing left to make a new world with.

As effective as Meenah seems like she would be at the game, it's not the kind of game where one player can carry the rest of the team completely. Unless you're Dirk, apparently. Also she was probably way more concerned with taking every single thing of value in every one of the 12 lands. How else would she have the most obscene amount of wealth?

Every non-void session fails to prevent it, but every successful session ends it.

If a "normal" sburb game is supposed to last a few years, is that what we can expect when the meteor and ship arrive at B2? Is the objective of the final acts going to be defeating Lord English and winning Sburb? With the redmiles reaching b2, they're going to need some universe to live in.

Does it need to be destroyed? Or just seized? From what I remember, Jack Noir destroyed the Black King's scepter to de-prototype the King and to prevent the Reckoning from being stopped. He seized the White King's sceptre to start the Reckoning. It seems more logical to me that WKS starts the Reckoning, BKS stops it, the Black side wins the fight and starts the reckoning, the players then fight the Black King and use his scepter to stop it. Since destroying the scepter de-prototype the King, it'd be a far too convenient shortcut to win the final boss fight. In the kids' session, the Reckoning was stopped IIRC when Jade finally entered, by her prototyping changing the morphology of Skaia.

The B1 session's reckoning wasn't stopped. It went on right up to the Scratch - just before Jade went dog tier, Jadesprite and Davesprite were just sort of sitting around the battlefield contemplating their impending demise as meteors came at them.

When Bec was prototyped pre-entry, the Battlefield advanced to the next level of complexity, which in the process repaired (some of) the damage it had sustained in the war. The Reckoning in B1 was never stopped; Jade simply moved the Battlefield (which was damaged, but not destroyed) out of the way during Cascade. You're probably right that the black scepter is what stops the Reckoning, though.

I honestly forget if it was ever said, but I swear I recall hearing it somewhere. But anyway, from this page it looks like the black king's scepter is being destroyed right in his hand. Which would be a pretty inconvenient place for it to blow up if you need to capture it to stop the reckoning. http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004497 I assumed Jack destroying the black scepter still achieved the same goal of making the reckoning unstoppable, it's just that the reason why would be the time he did it: Before the reckoning happened in the first place, meaning it was wasted when there wasn't anything to actually stop yet. Which is fitting in how broken the kid's session was, as it'd be practically a sequence breaking glitch. (Which reminds me that I still wondered what happened to the white scepter after Jack was done with it. If he still has it on him or if he chucked it somewhere. Maybe left it on the battlefield.)

The reckoning starts when the Black King uses the White Scepter. Hussie explicitly said this multiple times. Hearts Boxcar stole the white scepter for this reason.

Lord English is the personification of inevitable entropy--the force that destroys the old universe as the new one is created, the ~U() function that deconstructs universes that we're done with. But he's jumped the rails, and is corrupting and destroying worlds that are still in action. Basically, entropy himself has flipped our protagonists the bird. I don't know what the solution will be, but I imagine it will be a little more difficult than gaining all the levels and then stabbing him with a sword.

Fuchsia Ruler is a great song for an ancient, twisted being who has countless trillions live and die at her whim, with no other company than freaks brought into being or by inhumane science or existing in a perpetual nightmare. It is a bad song for a punk grrl who wants to do her own thang.

Except, realistically speaking, Meenah and Condesce are two characters who remained very similar between her pre and post-scratch versions. The Condesce just got an opportunity Meenah hadn't. Do you really think Meenah wouldn't off Empress Feferi and take over if she had the chance?

Thief of Breath would be most appropriate, because he takes your breath away. But no. Prince of Breath, meaning one who causes destruction using breath (wind, air, respiration, etc.). On Alternia, he led armies of mind-controlled monsters while flying. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

There could always be another special case, though, like with Calliope/Caliborn.

Prince of Rage might be too close to Bard of Rage, though, since they're the active and passive versions of each other. And that's boring. My guess is for Mage of Rage. My pet theory is that the Mage class is about subverting its element; Calliope described Doom as being the opposite of Life and talked about how heroes of two such opposite elements could wind up with functionally similar powers if their classes were also mirror opposites. Defying death seems to be a common theme between the Maid of Life (Jane) and Mage of Doom (Sollux.) Maid is an explicitly servile title, and of the three characters with the Maid title the one who's gone the furthest and embraced it the most is Aradia, who absolutely sees herself as and acts in the capacity of a servant to her element; Jane and Porrim both have some maid-like qualities too (I wouldn't necessarily call them servile, but they do seem fairly... servicial? Servicey?) So if the Maid is all about submitting yourself to the service of your element, the Mage as its opposite number is all about flipping the bird to your element and doing your own thing with it. Also and more importantly just listen to it. Mage of Rage. C'mon.
