I've gotten a request to make a dedicated weapon wall for unique guns in Lombard Station. Would it be better to alter the original Lombard Station.esp for this, Or would it be better to just make an additional plugin that makes the changes?

Omnicarus told me he planned on coming back to FNV and do an update to Lombard Station as well as an Armory supported wall, but that was a few months ago and haven't heard from him since. Still, he's active on the forums so maybe ask him first if he does plan on going back to it.

Whichever one has a smaller possibility of screwing things up. A unique wall would be awesome, the slot with the Bumper Sword/Blade of the East/something else (?) and the Tesla Cannon/Elijah's Tesla Cannon always bug out or do something weird.

AGSU is final now, and I swear the build I'm using is giving me really weird frame drops in areas where one of those weapons has been placed.

Anyone know how hard it'd be to make a patch that removed them from the world?

The shortest, easiest (which isn't easy at all) way would just be to make a new wall that only accepts the unique weapons and displays them. More complicated/smoother would be editing the weapon wall scripts, which are all handled in Lombard Station.esp. Hell, considering the way that it handles adding DLC and stuff, I'd probably have to edit all the DLC files to make it work 'properly' and 'nicely'. Otherwise you could still have your uniques sorted into the regular weapon walls.

I could make a short, dirty version that relied on all the DLC .esm's and the hardest part would be actually making the wall, which could be painful and tedious as gently caress. Maybe I'll go to the liquor store on friday and get cracking on it over the weekend.

It's been brought up a few times before, but AGSU weapons seem to cause inexplicable FPS drops when rendered on screen. The problematic weapon(s) seem to differ from person to person, which would make a patch very difficult to make, unless you were making it for yourself. I really don't think it would be difficult at all: Open up the mod in FNVEdit, find which weapon you want to get rid of, and delete the CELL reference to it.

I took it off but my idle stance is still whatever the hell that is. Happened when I gave the pack to Arcade, too.

Yeah, there seems to be a bug with that one. It also changes how you holster your weapon, i.e., behind your back instead of over the shoulder. It should go away after a while, try changing between a few different armours or equpping something that takes up the same slot.

Perhaps that's a conflict between LPAM and WAR (if you're using that?) I've never seen that before, and I only use LPAM. My mod simply adds armor, so I'm not sure why it would be changing your animations unless there's a conflict. :iiam:

Does the "Grunt" perk from Honest Hearts work with armory weapons?

EDIT-what did I do to EVE to gently caress up my laser pistol textures like this?

EDIT2- all my Energy weapon textures really. The effects work though!
EDIT3-Turns out when Mod maneger was saying if I wanted to overwrite certain files,it was base game files. :downs: Now I got to restore a back up.

Fixed a couple of recipes that were classified wrong (breakdown under ammo, and vice versa)
fixed 5.56 surplus which was breaking down 5mm surplus
added breakdown recipes for a bunch of GRA ammos because apparently i didn't before or they were lost to the geck being the geck or something (12ga/20ga, 12.7 JHP)
added new recipes for missiles variants.
removed duplicate recipe for 12.7mm rounds
added recipe for 9mm +P
fixed text on 12ga Dragon's Breath

Let me know if anything is missing not/right/etc. Comments on the missile recipes would be appreciated as well.

Install: Download, put in data directory, overwrite existing files if necessary. It shouldn't cause anything to violently explode in your game, but be careful.

EDIT: new file in place, fixed more breakdown recipes. i lost a bunch of GRA ones to a crash, I think. They're back and in place, but I'm not sure about all of them. It's kinda hard to look for something that isn't there.

I can't speak to it's quality (have it installed but haven't played yet), but I did run into an annoying bug where on fast travel, waiting, or even just entering a new room an 'error' type window would always pop up and say "You don't have the ignition key" like 2 or 3 times in a row. I was able to trace that message to this mod, and it seems to be related to a car that lets you return to the new area after you 'beat' it. It's a rather annoying error and the only fix I could find was to deactivate the Boulder Dome .esm until you actually want to play it.

I also happen to have Freeside:Open installed and it has a compatibility patch for Boulder Dome, but one of BD's quest npcs spawned right outside of ceaser's tent as I was exiting it one day and was acting like I was in the middle of one of BD's dungeons, then like we had just escaped.

I'm betting these 2 bugs are related. So yea if you don't use FreesideOpen you'll probably be ok. However, just to warn you; mods be buggy yo.

When was the last time you updated Beyond Boulder Dome with their beta updates? Because according to the changelog, this was one of the fixes in update v083 which was just put up on the 3rd. Of course there's no way to know this without some digging, since any changelogs get posted in the comments system instead of using that handy feature Nexus has to link any changes on the downloads section of a mod.

As to the actual quality, I have it installed as well, but haven't made it far enough to come across any of the content it adds so I can't speak for it either, but I have the latest patch for it and I've seen no sign of that ignition key bug myself so far.

Anybody know of a high resolution retexture of power armor? Preferably T-51b but I'm not picky. I remember there being a particularly good one for Fallout 3 way back but I can't find any such thing.

Did she have freaky looking goggles? That happened to me only it was when I entered The Lucky 38 suite. I don't have Freeside:Open.

I can't confirm that it was BECAUSE Windows 8, but I can confirm that I too couldn't load FNV4GB_NVSE in Windows 8.

I can't say for certain that what I'm about to suggest will work for you (in no small part because I'm not running Windows 8), but I had this same problem after I migrated my Steam install to a secondary hard drive last month. I was only able to get the 4GB loader that's compatible with NVSE to work like, seriously yesterday. I think it's because there was either some residual registry bullshit that I dealt with when I did my monthly CCleaner sweep, or when I went through and purged the old Steam files from COMODO's trusted files list. Like I said, no idea if this'll help, but it probably couldn't hurt to try it out if any of that sounds applicable to you.
