Most recently acquired: Caterham R500 superlight, Bluedird 510, 2002, and the TRON ones were given to me by my toy designer neighbor, who is awesome and loves cars as much as we do. (He used to work for Honda motorcycles doing body design) I want to unpack all my other toys but I need some kind of display case, dusting a shitload of hotwheels sucks rear end.

It is so late 70s/early 80s redneck that I almost want to try to love it, but it's not an A body, it's not a G body, it's not an F body. It's just another gutless shitstain with really awful 'makes its own glue' applications. Go, go, Gadget TypeR8.

I've got a whole bunch of them scattered around, though I put most of them up when my apartment was being painted. This is what I have on my computer desk right now. I'm an odd duck.

Couldn't find this one on snopes, but snopes did recently verify the plywood car as true: http://www.snopes.com/photos/automobiles/lumber.asp snopes posted:The materials were loaded at Home Depot. The Home Depot store manager made the customer sign a waiver before loading. Both back tires are trashed. The back shocks were driven up through the floorboard. On the roof are many 2X4s, 4X4s and OSL sheets of lumber. The load isn't all that meets the eye either. In the back seat were ten 80-pound bags of concrete! They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. The car is a VW Jetta with FL plates and the guy said he was headed [from Waldorf MD] for Annapolis!

Something didn't look right about this car parked in the grocery store employee parking spot. Stop & Shop parking lot (Allston,MA) Note the horrible seat covers in the first pic. Not pictured (because the windows were too reflective to get a good shot) the automatic transmission shift lever. Is this in the wrong thread? Either the person seeing it won't know what a GTR is and won't be impressed, or they will and will make fun of the time and money you've wasted. It's a no-win scenario.
