I suppose this is auto-related enough to post here. They paved the parking lot here the other day and... someone didn't get the memo.

Looks like some contractor was too lazy to call a tow truck, and will likely be dinged for not completing the job according to the contract. My work just had one of the lots repaved and ended up towing 3 vehicles.

Looking for parts for my car I came across this beauty. Donked out Caprice from Miami, no big deal. Wait, that interior looks different than a normal... What is going on here? Wow. I don't know what to say. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3935934/1989-chevrolet-caprice Impressive for doing it in your own front yard, but man it looks awkward.

I once high centered a Corolla on a snow bank while loving around in an empty parking lot after work and it only took 6 of us to lift the car enough off the bank so I wasn't stuck anymore.

One time in high school JROTC during a break in marching practice, I and a couple of other cadets (all sophomore NCOs) picked up the back end of a Ford Ranger belonging to a senior cadet Captain who was a bit of a jerk (and had JROTC in a different period) and wheeled it all the way to the far end of the parking lot (big school, seniors had reserved parking in the closest of four lots, we put it way out by the gate). I didn't end up joining the service, but JROTC did teach me useful teamwork and leadership skills

So somehow both my cars were hit and run last night. The Echo had the bumper ripped off, the fence was nicked and the Sonic was pushed forward a good 6 or more feet and the back is in pretty rough shape. I can't even get the police to come out. This is terrible car related stuff, right?
