Which botchamania is it where a woman(?) takes an insanely brutal powerbomb/piledriver and lands on her neck, and one of the commentators just starts howling with laughter and telling his partner to shut the gently caress up when he tries to talk over it. There are slow motion replays and every time she lands he's like 'POW hahaha'. I seem to remember the ring ropes were made of barbed wire if this helps

Not a clue as to which Botchamania you're talking about, though.

Haha, Bautista's strategy is taking a lot of punches to the head and getting a takedown on an obese man.

One of the wrestling news sites reported that the documentary for the new CM Punk DVD is on Youtube, from what I have seen so far this could be one of the best jobs the WWE has done spotlighting a wrestler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTi1Jh2HaEs the video is missing some of the left side of the shots, but is still watchable

I stilll say Kane's selling of the stunner is underrated. The Rock would do his flips and poo poo, but Kane would just go straight down on his face like a sack of bricks.

Also watching that doc made me just want to shake Punk's hand and say thank you more than anything. It is COMPLETELY different context and carries entirely different challenges and benefits, but speaking as a guy who tries to make change and gets really burnt out sometimes, I can sorta understand how Punk was feeling.

I can't wait until Miz sees the DVD and feels like an idiot for the nice things he said about Punk in the same DVD where Punk is saying Miz didn't deserve to main event Wrestlemania.

Who made that documentary? Acknowledging other companies? People alluding to Vince really not knowing what's good for business anymore? Actually talking about how the company will screw over and bury guys for no good reason? How many people are getting fired over this?

When Punk was doing a Q & A at Wizard World in Philly, he mentioned that a lot of conversations went like this: Punk: "I'd like us to cover (insert thing nobody talks about on any bio DVD ever) or have music by (insert band production team has no pre-existing relationship with here). Production "We can't do that" Punk "I guess we can't do this DVD, then" Production "Let me call somebody and see if we can do it" And then it would turn out, surprise surprise, they COULD do that.

I think business is at a point where they're in throw poo poo at the wall mode, and one of those is "well just cater to the internet." That's why you're seeing Attitude Era stuff, the Punk angle last year, etc

Vice.com have recently put together a documentary about UK "underground" wrestling, focusing on Insane Championship Wrestling from Glasgow. Part One is up now, with parts 2-4 going up each day apparently. It's very sweary and very Scottish, but there are subtitles on it. Worth a look if you've eight minutes spare http://www.vice.com/en_uk/rule-britannia/the-british-wrestler

Re: ICW. I feel I should point out, Mark Dallas is a HUGE carny. Stiffing venues on rental fees, stiffing workers on pay, and apparently sexually harassing fans too. That, and he just wants ICW so badly to be ECW. I see more ECW shirts at an ICW show than ICW shirts.

Watching the close up footage, it's really strange that they didn't have some security around him. Back in the day whenever a wrestler went into the crowd they had at least two guys around him to make sure the fans didn't get too close.
