I'm in yellow. The guy is read is always going on about them horrible socialist liberal crybabies. Really, like 50% of his facebook page is some stupid bumper sticker phrase or "LOL STUPID LIBERALS" image macro. He's a very outspoken evangelical (which I have no problem with, and actually admire that he tries to understand his faith in depth), but I think he is truly purblind to how his FYGM/boostraps regurgitation is oftentimes contrary to the religion he follows. I used to try to engage him and his friends in serious, rational discussions and back up my claims and debunkings with facts, but more often than not I'd still end up with him or his buddies just ignoring the point and attacking strawmen. I found that making a direct emotional appeal seems a lot more effective in terms on getting them to consider other viewpoints, or recognize the dissonance between their beliefs and reality. Well, up to a certain point.

well, it's interesting in part because it doesn't mention anything about persuasion, the list is literally all about someone trying to humiliate, attack, and kill her because she is a christian. I laugh even harder when someone calls Obama a Marxist. At that point I ask them to explain the difference between Marxism, communism and socialism. I get nothing but blank stares at that point. Arguing political theory with me (not to sound conceited) is far out of most peoples' depths. Then again, I've spent nearly 8 years studying it.

The entire purpose of the book was to take stuff like "turn the other cheek," "it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for the rich to go into heaven," and show how the bible actually wants you to do the opposite. The entire purpose of the book was to justify acting like a complete rear end in a top hat and further the gently caress you got mine mentality that permeates christianity today.

They couldn't just copy the Massachusetts 1099-HC form? It's basically, do you have health insurance? If yes, attach the form your health insurer mailed you. If no, you don't get the tax break, sry.

Well, from what I saw of the form, even with the wrong name, they got a lot of the exceptions and details right (or at least close enough). For example, the penalty is prorated by the number of months you didn't have insurance. How does Massachusetts handle all of that, or are there just not any exceptions?

I believe that MA also allows you to be without insurance for a period (three months?) without penalty, which I think is pretty much because many companies don't start providing benefits until after some probationary period.

Yeah, why don't you drat Yankees just get together, decide how to solve your problems together, and then all contribute to paying for the solution. Government and taxes are for suckers! The other thing that strikes me, is that in Mr. Libertarian's view, no one would have bothered to do anything before hand. Not so much a forward as a screed, this comes from a guy I was friends with in college who went insane when Obama won 4 years ago. I've blocked his posts from appearing in my feed because the constant Breitbart.com posts and quotes from Mark Levin got to be a bit much, but I still visit his page once or twice a week to get a good idea on how deep down the rabbit hole this guy goes.
