Though the main character has her own big smug lady that fucks people up so there's that I guess. More psychopath than smug, really. Still awesome though. And hilariously well-built.

Would be great if just the two middle bounces were looped endlessly.

I'm not a great fan of the CGI/look of Tron: Uprising either, but I assume they went with that design intentionally as well. Don't be so quick to judge a style. And I might be stealing that avatar if I can scrounge up five bucks.

Looks like they tried something midway between the original comics and the Star Wars CG series.

The way the arm moves is reminiscent to stop-motion/claymation. I thought that was the style they were going for, but I haven't actually seen the show. I might check out. I was a big fan as a kid (as most kids were that grew up in the 90s).

Honestly, if you don't have a Pixar/Dreamworks level budget, chasing after fidelity is simply going to result in a bunch of creepy shiny plastic people. Hence, if you're going down the CGI route (with all its animation and directing advantages), you may as well stylise your characters into caricatures.

PureRok posted:The way the arm moves is reminiscent to stop-motion/claymation. That's just my lovely editing skills. The show is pretty well animated for the most part even if they do take some shortcuts here and there. I think it's the best looking CG cartoon on TV right. But that's not saying much since the only competition is Transformers Prime and that Clone Wars cartoon.

In all seriousness, the animation for the show looks super slick the majority of the time. Those interested in the show can check out its' TVIV thread here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3509959&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=1
