I'd want Seth to be played by Jim Carry. He needs to get back to his comedy roots.

Am I the only one who thinks the woman in the picture might be Riki Lindhome? Also should I listen to the latest ep? The lineup doesn't give me confidence. Well, Lennon Parham is great but I've never heard her without someone else to be great with and I have no earthly clue who Nat Faxton is.

You should, Faxton is pretty funny and at least has the improv flow of the show down. He's the guy that co-wrote The Descendants with Dean Pelton from Community.

Is it just me or does Nat Faxon sound exactly like Andy Richter pitched down about 5%? Accent, cadence, speech patterns, everything. Before I checked the episode I thought it was Andy Richter doing a character.

Yeah, she's great. Sucks about their show- I never even knew it was on, when it was airing. I just learned about it when I heard about it getting cancelled. You can always get famous from the Womp it Up + Listler podcast.

I like Graham Parker but he really sounds like an Andy Daly character (specifically the guy who writes the middle 8s for U2)

Well, I chose mine after staring at the list for around 20 minutes. In chronological order: 1. 136 - 2011 Holiday Spectacular - James Adomian, Jon Daly, Brett Gelman, Nick Kroll, & More 2. 147 - Raisin Norman Bates - Paul F. Tompkins, Greg Proops, James Adomian 3. 148 - Wipeout! - Jason Mantzoukas, Andy Daly 4. 150 - Time Bobby - Bobby Moynihan, Paul F. Tompkins 5. 154 - Finger Guns - Lennon Parham, Jessica St. Clair 6. 158 - Words with Friends - Gillian Jacobs, Jordan Peele 7. 166 - Farts and Procreation 2 - Adam Scott, Harris Wittels, Chelsea Peretti 8. 167 - New No-Nos - Jessica St. Clair, Paul Rust, Jerrod Carmichael 9. 168 - Breaking Bread - Bob Odenkirk, Matt Besser 10. 176 - Out of Bleeps - Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, James Adomian It was really hard to get that list down to ten. They were on a roll from 166-168 and I felt I couldn't leave any of those episodes out. Judge away you bastards You can vote here: http://blog.earwolf.com/post/36579477815

Here's what I went with: 148 - Wipeout! - Jason Mantzoukas, Andy Daly 150 - Time Bobby - Bobby Moynihan, Paul F. Tompkins 154 - Finger Guns - Lennon Parham, Jessica St. Clair 158 - Words with Friends - Gillian Jacobs, Jordan Peele 159 - Apicklelypse - Alison Brie, Jason Mantzoukas, Bob Odenkirk 162 - Best Bro Hang - Andy Samberg, Adam Pally 166 - Farts and Procreation 2 - Adam Scott, Harris Wittels, Chelsea Peretti 167 - New No-Nos - Jessica St. Clair, Paul Rust, Jerrod Carmichael 176 - Out of Bleeps - Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, James Adomian 180 - Friends Without Words - Gillian Jacobs, Paul F. Tompkins, Lauren Lapkus I think I might be the only one who chooses Friends Without Words but I loving love anytime Gillian Jacobs is on the show. She was hilarious with Garry Marshall, and I liked Lapkus' character a lot too, even though the voice got annoying.

I picked: 143 - Grammy Spectacular - Weird Al Yankovic, Todd Glass, Amy Phillips 146 - Climbing the Ladder - Reggie Watts, Ben Schwartz, Matt Besser 147 - Raisin Norman Bates - Paul F. Mine, bolded my top 5. 144 - Clones and Oliver Stones - Harris Wittels, Paul Rust, Michael Cassady 146 - Climbing the Ladder - Reggie Watts, Ben Schwartz, Matt Besser 147 - Raisin Norman Bates - Paul F. Tompkins, Greg Proops, James Adomian 148 - Wipeout! - Jason Mantzoukas, Andy Daly 150 - Time Bobby - Bobby Moynihan, Paul F. Tompkins 161 - Highly Illogical - Reggie Watts, Tim Heidecker, Andy Daly, Jon Daly 166 - Farts and Procreation 2 - Adam Scott, Harris Wittels, Chelsea Peretti 167 - New No-Nos - Jessica St. Clair, Paul Rust, Jerrod Carmichael 173 - Ride Like Hell - Paul F. Tompkins, Paul Scheer, Brent Weinbach 181 - Happy Endings - Casey Wilson, Adam Pally That stretch from 144-148 was amazing. I can't pick a best overall, but it's probably between Climbing the ladder and New No-Nos. NEW NO-NOS! cams fucked around with this message at 22:33 on Nov 26, 2012 |

I did: 136 - 2011 Holiday Spectacular - James Adomian, Jon Daly, Brett Gelman, Nick Kroll, & More 147 - Raisin Norman Bates - Paul F. I think the fact that nobody has mentioned the Old Spice ad means it was pretty successful, at least as far as Earwolf's concerned. That's pretty cool. More money for them is cool (sorry indigi). I kinda liked it at first because I thought it was Jordan Peele but then I realized it wasn't but shrug. It was pretty unobtrusive.

I kind of wish Graham Parker (who he?) had played a song every ad break, even though we're well out of Zeptember. Seems like a waste to have him in the room sitting on his hands for an hour. Also the Old Spice ad was short so God bless it. e: removed a comma Mr. Squishy fucked around with this message at 18:47 on Nov 28, 2012 |

I thought it was obvious in a pretty awkward way that Graham Parker wasn't present. The way they back-pedaled when they realized they were talking about him as if he weren't there, and the way he and Apatow/St Claire didn't interact at all, made it seem evident. If you listen you can hear Scott's levels change a little where the files are spliced. e: thanks auto-correct! Ellaybee fucked around with this message at 01:00 on Nov 29, 2012 |

One of my favorite things is when Scott takes a moment to say "I make it a point not to bring up politics on this show but listen, this Obama guy has got to go, right? Can we all agree on that? I mean, come ON." There's just something so hilariously absurd about it whenever he does it.
