Colin Brady, producer of the Shannon Burke Show on RadioIO, didn't show up to work today.

So they sent an intern over to his apartment.

They just found his body live on the air.

I would have wish them to continue broadcasting but thats perverse of me. Shannon even said it would be great radio in a sort of joking kind of way but that was before they actually found him, and then ... welp!

Other than it being I'm guessing on Sirius what does that have to do with the Stern show? I'm asking a serious question because I have no idea who that is. Now if you said they sent JD to California and they found ETM dead in his chair that would be a great bit.

Did anyone catch the live show this morning when the guy called in criticizng Howard for his bad intrrview with Kid Rock? It was weird, the guy started to say something towards the end about if he were running the Stern show then music played and the conversation abruptly changed. It sounded like someone hit a dump button or edited it for the replay.

I think he said something about how if he was running the show Robin would be in studio. Or was there something after that?

On that note, Howard did a pretty good job of transitioning into that bit about Fox News cutting off their panelist and how he wishes he could run his show like that.

As I am home with my wee one for the next little while, I have been burning a hole in my Netflix streaming account in between feedings, diaper changes and weeping (me, not him. The lack of sleep is making me loopy) and who do I see in "Heroes"...but George Takei! I had totally forgotten he was in this. He is yelling a lot in Japanese.

I cannot believe how good he looks - I know this is a six years old at this point, but he has aged unbelievably well. It is amazing.

I thought Robin was actually back in - when they were interviewing Sandra Bernhard, she addressed Robin at one point but not by name. It was the way you would speak to someone if they were in front of you. I assumed she was looking at Robin when she was talking to her. Not so, I gather?

Gary mentioned at some point that he tells the guests beforehand that Robin is out and to just acknowledge her like normal for the flow of the shows sake.

Also, I loved seeing George during the Old Navy black Friday commercials.

They really fooled me - I thought for sure I had just missed the announcement since I am not listening as much.

I "liked" George on Facebook and I must say, I enjoy when he posts. Whoever does social media for him (Brad, right?) deserves a raise.

You don't always waste away when you have cancer. When my mom had thyroid cancer the treatment was iodine radiation instead of traditional chemo. She didn't really lose a ton of weight when she had breast cancer either. So it's entirely possible that she doesn't LOOK ill.

The worst part of all of this is that I actually like Robin a lot.

He has admitted that it's Brad, but added that he does give some material to him. I don't do Facebook, but I do have George on my "celeb" twitter list, and I enjoy his tweets.

This had to be at least fifteen years ago, but there was a show when Howard spent like 30 minutes tearing into Gary because he prefaced an answer with "I believe...". I remember it going from awkward to hilarious and right back to awkward with how ruthless Howard was being and how Gary kept darting between defensive and "ok, let's just move on". Not much has changed.

On Tuesday's show there was this caller named Ken (I think). Towards the end of his call, he criticized Howard's interview with Kid Rock and Howard said something along the lines of "when you have the Ken Show, you can do a better Kid Rock interview than me," and instantly, Ken fires back that if he had his own show "Robin will be there when I talk to her." Then they instantly hung up on him and changed the subject quickly.

Whoever that is, THANK YOU!

For some reason he never talks about it because I'd see him at the game then the next day he would never mention he went. I always thought it was weird he how he talked about bailing on so many events yet he was right there at so many of the Knicks games with Beth. Unless he started talking about it recently he never mentioned it. I don't think he said one word back when I had Sirius.

He talked a few times about it, but never very much. I think the most he ever discussed was when he sat next to Tracy Morgan and was detailing all of Tracy's antics.

Very bizarre! I think that was Fred being late to play music to go with Howard saying "the Ken Show," but at the time it sounded like they were trying to drown the caller out. Right after, Robin sounded pretty bummed out from what the caller said.
