Sniep that really sucks man. i still have the photo of mr. cat on my desk that you sent me last christmas  Sniep posted:It's okay, I will be fine, I am just happy that his suffering was short. when we lost Rocky last year this is exactly how it happened. two nights before we had to put her down she was stealing chicken off my plate and keeping me awake begging for pets and cuddling like always. then all of the sudden her illness hit her and she could barely move or function. it happened so fast and sudden that i thought i had given her bad chicken or something and was sure i was to blame but it turns out that her body was just shutting down due to a cancer that had been completely undetected and incurable i haven't read this thread in forever and it sucks to come back to it this way. drat

read about mr cat earlier and right when I got home I played with refurb a bunch, then took the dog on a really long walk. got home, saw the bad news and played with Refurb a shitload more. here's the two of them now  i think i'm gonna let refurb break something later and I won't get mad at her or anything in mr cat's memory

When I return home from vacation I always let our two cattes in my room. They say I'm spoiling them but I don't care. This reminds me why I don't care. Rest in peace mr. cat. I hope our cats get to live as much as you, and that when we too part I will have no regrets as a cat dad.
