Just uploaded this original this morning. My Electronic Music final for this semester. I'd written the first 5 minutes when I was 18 in 2002 and finally got around to completing it with Logic Pro 9.

I still need a lot of work on mastering and using volume poo poo on the mixer. It's all over the place unfortunately.

My soundcloud is basically my go-to cloud space for my school projects.

Really enjoyed this track. Then SoundCloud's new "related" system immediately played what sounded like some hardcore gangsta rap, which wasn't the most enjoyable transition.

Here's a thing I made recently. All samples and electronics. Starts out as a weird ambient thing with irregular rhythms and interplay of several instruments, eventually turns into sheer hosed up noise and then a dreamy almost-4/4 groovy breakbeat section with polymetric figures looping over top. And a lot of other things happen too.

I have a lot of other music as well.

Did you compose the instrumentation in this or sample it? What's the difference in the end, really? ...but really what on earth is going on in your brain? I like this. It's got a very distinctly composed touch. edit: oh, went through your song history. I get the story now. This is really cool stuff.

Enjoying this. I like the lyrics in 'Think of the Children', they create a nice counterbalance with the chords underneath. And the music reminds me of a punk band that only had an acoustic guitar to write a song on. On 'Pure Drunken Algae' you have a nice groove going underneath the rhythm and the lead is a nice touch. My only complaint/tip is on 'Palmcorder Yoga' the mix is rough. The guitar drowns out the rest of the instruments, and sounds like the vocals have a clipping issue. Keep in mind I'm just a beginner when it comes to mixing/producing songs so take that for what you will.

Dude this is really, really good. Lyrics are well thought out and the home quality sound really adds to the atmosphere. This should be part of the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack.
