So my Protege is officially a new England car as I found its first Flintstone hole in the floorboards next to the clutch pedal.

Announcing the initial discussions for NEAI #3 : Spring Sextravaganza! I'm thinking March, unless we have an extremely mild winter. I have airbags to set off. It's going to be cold in March which will make building redneck contraptions while intoxicated difficult because I don't want to pass out in the back of a vehicle and actually you know freeze to death. Also, join us in IRC. We have a good time

Should setup an autocross day through Ne svt , bay state corvette, or track club USA at Devens. The events typically start in May everyone could plan a day and register also bmwcca has the evolution driving school coming next year for a weekend.

Do any of you know of a DIY garage place near Boston? I do most of my car work in my brother-in-law's driveway but it would be nice to rent a bay/lift to make things warmer/easier, respectively. I did a quick google search but came up empty except for a place in Nashua.

I didn't, but I don't think we went within 200 feet of the Volvo section the whole day. If I head back for another cab cut for Ace's truck sometime this week I'll try and remember to check for one.

I'm still open to hosting something at my hackerspace in Nashua if you guys don't want to wait until spring time. It's heated, there's a 9000lbs Rotary lift, a CNC plasma cutter, MIG, TIG, Mills, Lathes, 3D printer, lots of other tools, and most importantly, two taps built into a fire hydrant and fed from a dedicated beer fridge. We can fit a car on the lift, and 2-4 more inside depending on the level of clutter. We're out by a train yard, so no neighbors to annoy and no one really cares what we do. SwashedBuckles - All members get access to the lift, so if it's not too far for you it may be worth it. Stuff like the tool list and photos needs to be updated, but here's our website: http://makeitlabs.com

I just checked the schedule for January, and so far the 12th, 19th, and 26th (all Saturdays) are open. If one of those works, I'll make sure no one schedules any workshops/classes that day so we have full use of the space. I want to make sure the guy who knows the CNC plasma best is on hand too.
