i still haven't been able to find a good automatic feader that only feets in 1/4 to 1/3 cup increments. aside from the one super spergy one where you have to program how many times the auger rotates and it costs 350 bucks

I've been meaning to try making a feeder with a Ras pi that I can control remotely with my phone. Might use twitter so that I can tweet food to my cat. Should be pretty simple I'll set my kickstarter goal to $30,000

The manual is in english translated from chinese by a dyslexic latvian, but it's p. easy to figure out, comes apart easily to clean and runs off the batteries it takes for about a year. I can't remember the website we got it from, but I'll look it up when I get back home. It has one ridiculous feature: You can record a message to your cat and have it blared at them in glorious 8-bit when the food dispenses. Currently this is "FOOOOOD SHITLOOOOOORD" but subject to change depending on whether or not kebab starts answering to the name shitlord.
