dissss posted:They used it on Australian model Fords too like the Laser/Telstar/Fairmont/Territory Fairlane Sportsman Ghia. Hell of a model name. Especially because I don't know of any non Ghia Fairlanes. Fairlane is for the LWB package. Ghia includes... I have no goddamned idea because there are no hard and fast rules. Fairmont is the model that replaces Falcon when the Ghia suffix is added. Then there is the the LTD which is a Fairlane again with a different set of particularly gaudy options. Oh can't forget the XR6 and XR8 Falcons with the go faster bits (The Fairlane Sportsman in I6 configuration got the XR6 motor. The V8 I think got the same as the LTD). What have I missed. The GL is the poverty pack with barebones trim and crappy green backlit gauges. That's something else. Depending on the trim type the gauges are backlit a different colour. The Aussie naming conventions are a bloody mess.

This poor poor NA Miata. This is the last car I expected to ever see with lambo doors. I really wonder if the odometer is even hooked up, the trip and overall both show all 0's. It's kind of illegal to sell it like that right? http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/3487603358.html

Love the overspray from painting the calipers on the car It's a shame, the engine seems reasonably well done, but every cosmetic decision they made inside and out is just poor.

Vents? gently caress that, GAUGES. This is the only photo that shows all the vents, but you can see how they're all stopped up. I've seen people do one or two in a pinch, but never all four. Don't bother ever turning the A/C on.

Sir Cornelius posted:I've never seen a Mazda dipstick that wasn't yellow. On some cars, different color dipsticks supposedly signify different types of oil needed. For instance, on Peugeots AFAIK a yellow dipstick means it takes mineral oil, an orange dipstick means semi-synth minimum and a red dipstick means fully-synth only. I'm not sure how reliable this is, though, as I've never been able to find any written documentation, it's all hearsay from my mechanic.

PSA does use handle color codes for oil capacity between engines within the same model though (actually I think the color code really identifies dipstick length).
