We now officially get to have a new dungeon! 46 hours to go to get to $120,000. Is TOG a bad enough company to get enough money for the animations? I asked this in the Kickstarter comments page, will there be an always on-DwarfNET requirement? I take long trips to Japanese strip clubs and would like to be able to play the game while flying to Japan. Yaos fucked around with this message at 04:43 on Dec 27, 2012 |

I am a "fan" of the original Non Human vidcon from the Action 52 bundle. Does your version have music based on the original music, which I felt was actually pretty catchy? And do you still play as some entity which vaguely resembles Beethoven, and the ground is an abyss filled with alien/zombie Elton John heads?

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been as active in this topic as I'd like to be lately. I am really, really sick, the sickest I've been in a long time, and I haven't been able to do anything. I picked a really great time to be sick! So I'm sorry everyone. I'll try to get to as many questions and comments as I can. Also, we may be live streaming the last few hours of the Kickstarter. I don't know why people want this, but we've been asked a million times for it so, depending on my health, you may get the privilege of watching us watch Kickstarter numbers go up. BiggerJ posted:Repost for new page so Chef Boyardee sees: Backer Rewards Update Thank you so much for supporting Barkley 2 and helping us surpass our goal. We have been completely overwhelmed with the level of support you've shown, and are excited to bring you the best possible game we can. We at the ToG labs have been busy preparing your pledge rewards, and would like to give you a taste of things to come. Remember: all reward tiers are cumulative, so you will be receiving each tier up-to-and-including the reward you claimed (with the exception of the interview). Custom Content Tiers (Game Encounter, Forum Signature, DwarfNET Poster, and Playable Character Portrait) Backers in this tier can look forward to working one-on-one with the Barkley 2 team to help bring their likeness and precious snowflake of a personality to Dwarf Space Ziggurat Necron 7 and beyond. You will hear from us shortly after the campaign ends and we can't wait to get working on original content just for you. Physical and Digital Art Book Tiers In addition to the concept art already on show by Tales of Game's artists Richard Tran, David Nyari, Francis Coulombe, and Evengi Maloshenkov we have begun working on exciting new exclusive content for you. This includes new original pieces by additional artists, prose from our wretched writers and much more. ToG Vidcon Pack Tiers The ToG vidcon pack has undergone a rigorous evaluation process and earned the highest distinction our technicians have ever charted: this solid digital-gold game package is Certified 100% *Very Rare*. For more details, and an in-depth look at some of the games in the pack, please check out the following post on our website: http://www.talesofgames.com/2012/12/tales-of-games-vidcon-pack/ Please see the end of this message for a note about vidcon pack OS compatibility. ToG Music Pack and Barkley 2 Original Soundtrack Tiers A preview of four work-in-progress tracks off of the upcoming Barkley 2 OST are available now on the Tales of Game's SoundCloud page. In addition, Chef Boyardee has carefully curated his mountain of musical crud, selecting the tunes best suited for your individual shape and size of ear. Due to popular demand, we’ve also prepared some cursors and icons reflecting the alluring vice of Corporate Attitude. We don’t like it, but we accept it as a necessary evil. Preview: Barkley 2 And most importantly, the game itself. Barkley 2 is a burning hot work of passion that grows sharper each passing day. We are down to the final days of our campaign! Please spread the word about Barkley 2 to anyone you think might be interested in the game, and help us reach our stretch goals! Every dollar enables us to spend more time making Barkley 2 the best possible game we can. Feliz Navigames, Tales of Game’s ---- NOTE REGARDING VIDCON PACK OS SUPPORT It has come to our attention that the majority of games in the Vidcon Pack are Windows only. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to edit our existing pledge reward descriptions to reflect this. While some of the games ARE Mac friendly (a smaller number playable on Linux and other OSes as well), and we MAY be able to issue ports of the remaining games depending on budgetary and time constraints, we CAN NOT guarantee it at this time. We want to apologize to our non-Windows users for this lapse. If you are a Mac, Linux, or DwarfOS user unable to play games on Windows who has presently pledged at the Vidcon Tier, please send us an email at contact@talesofgames.com, and we'll gladly help work out an alternative reward for your pledge. Our Non Human is based off of the original Non Human and there's a part of the game that has the bizarre heads, awful layout and enemies of the original, but the music is extremely bad and we made our own soundtrack. Hatbox Ghost posted:It's not totally random, Tír na nÓg and Cúchulainn are both from the same lore. Upped my pledge from $10 to $75, gotta get that Barkleynomicon. This is based on the assumption that authentic nippon hanzo steel folded metal bullets are used and correctly portrayed in this vidcon rather then their western counterparts (as if they're even comparable, heh). It sounds like the developers are going to be eating on the cheap until the game's release. I had to do that recently, and despite being a dietician, I thought I'd be able to get by on cheap staples and off-brand junk food. After three weeks I couldn't take it anymore, so I started supplementing with this and this. The first one's the best multivitamin on the market, and it has enough whole plant extracts that it counts as a serving of vegetables. The other one's concentrated omega 3s to keep your brain in top shape for truly appreciating fine vidcons. For serious, if you take both of those you can eat nothing but ramen and wood pulp and still feel healthier than you have in your entire life. And it works out to only like $28 per month per person.

Sadly, I don't have any thrilling story to go with that, but I'm almost positive it was either insert credit or one of its various spinoff sites from the early 2000s. The original post was about how "videogame" is a more correct spelling than "video game", because it emphasized the fusion of imagery and play, or something. It was exaggerated pretty hard here. Man, looking at insert credit now, they have not changed much in the past five years, aside from maybe killing their forums.
