Does anyone know what would be causing this all of a sudden? I tried two different search providers in Sickbeard and it's happening a lot. Downloads get to 100% and do absolutely nothing. I've been trying to figure this out for a few days now

If you're on an updated version of Sab, you can change the priorities for those to 'Stop' at least, just to get them starting post process.

When I go to the "incomplete" folder, the total file size is nowhere near the total amount it's saying (though it's more than just a few MB). I have deleted the completed folder if that's what was suggested. I'm very confused because it only seems to happen on certain stuff, and not on others.

New sickbeard flavor is out, as of 4 hrs ago. Nothing dramatic enough to warrant a immediate upgrade. build 498 (12/31/2012) Remove providers that no longer exist; NZBMatrix, Newzbin Misc TVDB related fixes. Pull #527 #538 Treat episodes on TVDB with the airdate of 0000-00-00 the same as if it was not set to anything. This resolves tv.py throwing: Malformed air date retrieved from TVDB This resolves tvrage.py throwing: Error encountered while checking TVRage<->TVDB sync: year is out of range Upgrade tvdb_api from 1.7.2 -> 1.8.2 Should resolve cache issues with regards to users that are unable to write to the cache, depending on how the 'tmp' permissions are set up. Correctly sort shows on homepage that have 0 ep downloaded. (0/# sorts lower than 1/#) Fix SB-API show.addnew and show.addexisting when adding a show from tvdbid that contain no name. As this resulted in the show creation folder called None. Fix SB-API sb.searchTVDB call on returning incorrect data for a tvdbid that contains no name. Report the failure to add a show to sb because it has no episode/season data rather than saying it has no name and to delete the .nfo file. XBMC notifier rewrite to support XBMC v12 (frodo). Pull #524 Notifier will query xbmc host to see if it should use the legacy (http-api) or the newer (json-rpc) methods. We still use the HTTP server to send requests to, enable it by going to the following: HTTP: In System/Settings/Network/Services activate Allow control of XBMC via HTTP Also changed, we send the library update commands only to the FIRST host in the list if there are multiple ones defined (fix for those that have a multi xbmc setup with sql backend). Added "Extend (Limited, E-prefixed)" multi-ep naming scheme of E##-E##. Pull #510 This was added since our current Limited format (E##-##) is not Plex friendly Fix Newznab providers (nzb.su) that use sphinx, as when SB searches for shows without a tvrage id we were searching with an invalid delimiter. Pull #525 Fix Backlog Overview from having funky sorting issues with high season/episode numbering. Pull #516 Fix global backlog date from being reset when the limited backlog (startup) ran. Pull #535 Make the arrows on the displayShow page act like a circular linked list. Pull #515 Cleanup newShow / quality chooser to re-size the page height when switching from/to the 'Custom' quality dropdown. Pull #513 #540 #544 #546 Update the git related pull_regex in versionChecker so it works for non-english users. Pull #511 Cleanup the initialization / writing of sickbeard's config.ini. Pull #503 Tweaked the browser/autocomplete routine so known junk folders are not to be displayed. Pull #545 Fix background image for very long webpages, add .mp4 files with unknown quality to the SD assumed quality, sort the splitQuality output so it reflects the internal values correctly (lowest to best). Pull #529 Minor bug fixes Ignore invalid air-by-date configs if custom air-by-date is disabled Fix crash in proper/repack thread, 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'replace'

I finally got Spotweb Easy up and running. How can I tell when SpotWeb has finished retrieving new posts? Right now it doesn't seem to have grabbed anything newer than 24+ months. I tried running the retriever script via the command line (to make sure it was updating) and PHP told me that the script was already running. Should I just chill out, leave it be, and check back in the morning? Edit: Nevermind, it looks like I just need to chill the gently caress out. I refreshed it a few minutes later and I saw some new updates. I set Spotweb to retain the last 365 days worth of posts. Will it download all of the posts to date, and then prune out the old stuff? Is there anything like Sick beard/Headphones/Mylar/Lazy Librarian/Couch Potato for Games? After seeing this there is a lot release dates to keep track of in 2013 and NZBMatrix watch lists obviously don't exist anymore.

I don't see how that would work for games since unmentionable things must be done before the Game appears on bittorrent/usenet. The time it takes for those things to happen varies a bit. You may as well just check an indexers RSS feed.

I've been trying to keep up with all the chat over the last few weeks but I'm afraid I'm a little lost, so I'm hoping someone can answer these questions for me 1) Apart from price point and site-specific limitiations for free accounts, is there any difference between the various Newznab-based indexes? Are the indexes built 100% automatically and therefore identically? Does the userbase contribute at all aside from comments? 2) If I had the bandwidth and the disk space, is there any reason why I should sign up to a public indexer rather than run Newznab myself? I'm mostly interested in whether the index itself would be the same

Anyone know how you change the default port when setting up spotweb easy? I changed the commented out port in C:\Spotweb Easy\apache2\conf\httpd.conf but when I run the setup it doesn't seem to matter as it tries to go to port 80 (which I have IIS). Do I need to setup virtual host in that file?

TomWaitsForNoMan posted:I've been trying to keep up with all the chat over the last few weeks but I'm afraid I'm a little lost, so I'm hoping someone can answer these questions for me The difference is this: when you set up newznab you can configure which usenet groups it scrapes and how far back it scrapes. It takes more resources to increase those two quantities, so every indexer is going to have something different there. I look at it like this...there's no reason to not sign up for them, and once you're in you kinda cover your bases for when your own indexer or whatever ones you've signed up for dies for whatever reason.

So I may be usenet retarded, but I posted earlier about how I went by the posted diagram of usenet resellers to deliberately pick out a netherlands provider when Astraweb cancelled my rebilling. I removed all of Astraweb's servers from my SABNZBD install and only have UsenetXL information entered. I just checked out my connections and here is what I'm getting: Is this a sign that UsenetXL are infact just reselling Astraweb's EU feed, which is being DMCA'd along with their normal feed that I was hoping to get away from in the first place? I've been using UsenetXL for a couple of weeks now and this is the first I've bothered to look at the connections. They weren't listed as an Astraweb reseller on the chart which is kind of a bummer to find this out now if that's the case. Or am I just misunderstanding how usenet article naming works?

If they were originally posted to Astraweb, they're going to end up with whatever naming scheme Astraweb uses. You'd really have to compare the actual article numbers with an Astraweb feed.

Next time there's a new thread, that tidbit of uploads being labelled with the server they were originally uploaded to should be added to the Q&A section of the op. If current trends continue, maybe something about trying a different page when indexer X seeeeems to be down (but probably isn't), too. Speaking of new threads, what's on the to-do list for next version of SABnzbd+? Polished as it is, there's always the next thing. I'd like there to be an option where you could input the max allowed number of connections for a server and have that number of connections used by default during the "Check before download" stage. Should make it faster (I think), as that stage seems to be more about connections than bandwidth. And back-up server prioritization, of course. gary oldmans diary fucked around with this message at 23:33 on Jan 2, 2013 |
