ETM is alright in doses but he was ruined when Johnny Fratto got a hold of him. Just got tired of the obvious lame bits that Fratto put him up to in order to get a lovely plug.

Nah, Eric was still fine then even when Fratto got involved. Artie stabbing himself in the stomach is exactly the same moment ETM got boring. There's been a handful of moments since Artie left where Eric's been great radio whereas really almost every call before then was amazing because Artie was there to poke and prod the little monster.

Are you sure you're looking at the right twitter? Eric's real page is protected and you can only look at it if he's following you/allows you to and all the other ones are fake. Even Howard tweeted @ a fake eric the other day :ughh:

This one's held conversations with several members of the staff and posted pictures from the block parties Eric was at last year. Also, a while back Eric was talking about trying to get Gary to announce that he wasn't gay, and he talked about it on this account. All the fake ones I've seen are obviously fake; if this one's not legit, whoever's doing it is doing a masterful job of matching up his tweets with what's really going on in the little fucker's life. (He's also got Andy Kaufman-esque levels of commitment, given the sheer number of tweets he's put out.)

Pretty much, etm is only funny when people are exposing the terrible little poo poo for the rear end in a top hat he is and making fun of him. Howard just feels bad for him.

Fratto does manage to get some gold into the ETM mix, like convincing him werewolves were real.

The best recurring ETM thing since Artie left is his insistence that "I'VE BEEN ACTING ON THIS SHOW THE WHOLE TIME. THIS ISN'T MY REAL PER-SON-ALI-T-Y."

And it was only funny because he hadn't been trying to do shtick with Eric for years when it happened.

Eric is at his best when he's genuinely ignorant about real life and when he's genuinely being difficult to work with. Stuff like his calls pre-Frotto, the IQ test, the balloon stunt, Richard's old prank calls to him, etc were what made me fall in love with the little fucker.

I don't get that, he slobbers all over the Beatles, he thinks nothing in music will ever be better than them. His living musical god gives him a signed gift and he just shits all over it. I don't get that. I was really pissed off because there are millions of people that would do just about anything for the chance to meet the man, let alone get a hand signed gift from him. Howard really has no concept of things like that. He will never really be happy with whatever he has, because he doesn't think anything is worth it. It's pretty sad.

I was lucky enough to meet Ronnie James Dio and he signed a photo for me and took a picture with me and I was so drat thrilled with that, just to be a part of somebody you admire, is something special

Huh, I thought they were really good. Maines is incredibly familiar with the show so it was fun hearing them talk about staff members with her and Dave Attell was one of the most hilarious/depressing interviews in forever. I love how he asked "Do you have a dog?!" after all the previous down-notes, and his reaction to Howard telling him their dog just died.

Also near the end there was an instance where Howard goes "You're losing money like crazy" and Attell chipped in "That's my thing!" in the background as Howard continued on, made me crack up.

Probably the most annoying show I can think of Rachel vs Guy: Celebrity Cookoff is featuring Gilbert, which is the only reason why I'm watching.

"So what can you cook?"
:nervous gilbert laugh:

I hope he stays on long enough to say something inappropriate, but I also hope he loses so I can stop watching.

Did anyone catch him on Nick and Artie last month? Artie was out and Nick had nothing to talk about with him, so the segment was full of awkward silence and ended quickly.

Judging by the picture I posted above and this trailer I found for Girls (no I haven't watched the show), I still wouldn't call her chubby or fat. She's just not "movie star thin". She looks like a human being instead of plastic.

Holy poo poo the terrible terrible jokes Howard keeps reading, oy vey. That one about the "curse" on each of the people named "oldest person in the world"? Howard had to force himself to laugh so people would even get that he was making a joke.

I normally hate when Howard does that, because he only likes skinny girls with no curves and is obsessed with weight, but that girl is overweight. She's in that unfortunate "Everyone thinks they could bang her if they wanted and would be doing her a favor" role usually tossed around by shlubs like Ralph.
