Exactly, people that stop get all pissy when I wave them on, I'd much rather be able to see whats ahead, rather than rely on someone looking in their blind spots attempting to wave me through. Did that one Minivan that jumped the left hand signal crash directly into a cop car. Pretty epic if so.

The one where the semi suddenly comes at you sideways is pretty eyebrow raising too. Other than that the Russian videos are decidedly superior in their taste of in-car music and hilarious VAZ-210x hijinks.

Those turning lane ones scare me the worst, most people don't follow proper lane placement when doing those, they just sail wide and go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayhoooooo buddy I didn't see you there! I'd like to get a dash cam as well sometime in the future since it'd be a great piece to have in case of an accident. I t-boned someone who blew a yield sign and if it wasn't for the obvious fact that the accident could have only happened from failure to follow the yield, then I probably would have been told I was the person that caused the accident. That being said, anyone here follow MPZRACEVIDEO on YouTube? Nothing but cars and racing, no music and its all in HD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mthX3fx4Dtk

Watching those races has me wondering though: with how small/light the older models were, how competitive are the larger, heavier new cars? Unless the older ones are just much further down on power, anyways.

I've been t-boned by someone who'd been waved through a long line of cars like that. I actually felt bad for the dude that hit me as he was a new driver and probably didn't know any better.

I was the guy taking the wave-through back in '06. Pulled in front of a Kia Sportage and goodbye to my new-to-me '95 Thunderbird. I had good liability coverage but no comprehensive, so the innocent was back on the road quickly while I was glad I hadn't yet sold my Crown Vic. Never done that since.

I got a wave-through of a different sort once. I was waiting in a narrow median to turn left into the traffic flow with a few friends in the car, and one of my coworkers pulled his car into the median as well, completely blocking my view of oncoming traffic, while he was simultaneously stuck behind me so he couldn't go either. (We were angled about 45 degrees towards traffic.) He waved me forward, and I pulled into the near lane -- and got clipped by a pickup truck at full speed. Ripped the front bumper off and jacked the RF fender up pretty good; a few feet farther forward and it would have been a full side-swipe, endangering my passengers and the other truck (who didn't stop, either). Thankfully insurance covered the repair, but since then I've had a pathological fear of any median that isn't long enough to fit my whole car lengthwise, i.e. I won't pull into them unless traffic's clear both ways.

Christ, fine, clearly she was doing her best to try and kill the defenseless poor motorcycle rider. She will most likely file a lawsuit for mental damage is as well. I'm sure when she is done there she will go on to run over several children and small animals as well, all while talking on the phone with her grandchildren without using a hands free set....right? I'm not trying to dismiss her lovely driving, just trying to say that I feel kinda bad for her. Hopefully she learned a valuable lesson from that. He has implemented a way to dynamically inflate, deflate and level the pressure between the tires. That's what he's using the sphygmomanometer to demonstrate. There's more on his build here, but it translates poorly. http://lunohodov.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3788
