Can we really expect a 17 year old KID, cause that's what he is, to make the best decisions as he's surrounded by people praising him and telling him everything he is doing is fine? This entire situation is because his management and Pitchfork set this up and allowed this to happen. I doubt Keef sets up his own press events, considering he can barely talk about his record deal. Finally, if he really does have a variation of Asperger's or autism, then he has even more issues tied into that. We've talked about this before in this thread, but Keef has been exploited by those around him and it is now affecting him in a tangible negative way. He's 17, his star is rising and now he has to spend a couple months in a facility that has gangs and probably a few people that wanna jack Keef for the fame or for some perceived slight. He has to be separated from his entire support structure and it's because of a poor decision that adults made. Honestly, I'm okay if he sheds a few tears.

Unless they told 50 to meet up with the guy who shot him. i mean the fact is that these record contracts are so byzantine and obtuse theres probably multiple clauses that allow a record label to drop an artist and still be allowed to recoup their investment and i highly doubt chief keef got as good of a deal as say, french montana or odd future or something. he doesnt seem like the type to really make sure his contract was the best possible

Yeah, Soul Tape 2 was one of my favorite mixtapes of last year. There might have been only 1 weak track on it. I liked his Diced Pineapples far more than the original Ross version mostly because Cassie sounds way better on the hook than Drake
