Still one of my favorite exchanges.

James Bond is a secret agent who gets mad laid. His two catchphrases are "I'll be back," and, "Fuggedaboutit!"

Question: There's an episode where Seth is talking about a new ID system that one of the southern states was trying to implement that would give everyone an assigned ID number, and bible-thumping southerners were against it due to the concept of "the number of the beast" or some crap. Out of nowhere Jonathan just says, "MULTIPASS." And you can tell by the way Seth pauses he's just looking at Jonathan like, "Thank you for that." and then continues. Does anyone know what ep this is? I know it's in the 60's

Also, the lovely alt-rock station in Tulsa (where I'm living right now, unfortunately) totally stole the Horse/Weed/Mind's Eye game from UYD, except they were doing Horse/Porn Movie. The DJ even said, "All the horses I'm listing are actually running this week in the 'whatever' race." in the same way Seth would say it. It was really lame

From lovely radio DJs to Breaking Bad. Everyone rips off UYD.

Also, I'm pretty sure that episode was much later, because I remember hearing it in the last couple weeks. Probably somewhere in the 110-130 region.

Edit: Oh man, some great stories in Episode 149. Jah breaking up the Californian diamond ring, and pissmops.org. Also, 14-year-old girl in Guitar Center, and learning to use a calculator. Too loving funny.

There was some discussion about it after I used it as a background for a youtube clip, but I don't think there was any goon involvement in it.

In one of the episodes, Seth was talking about a website where you could look up specific words to find out if they were a part of any cities, landmarks, etc. (the specific example he used was the word negro); does anyone know what website this was? I could have sworn I had it bookmarked, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Their general attitude about not being typical douchebags about a lot of their opinions has changed the way I think about a lot of stuff.

I'd been thinking for years about making the switch to a vegetarian lifestyle, but anyone I'd ever met who subscribed to it was a total prick about it. Somehow listening to them mention it as just another aspect of their lives is what convinced me to finally make the change. I even sent an e-mail to Jonathan this month thanking him for being a normal dude who happens to not eat meat, despite his lapse in 2010 or whatever.

He responded to an e-mail that I sent yesterday letting him know of all the terrible poo poo that happened in my home town of Cape Coral, Florida that they've mentioned on the show. Including, but not limited to, a dude having sex with two blow up dolls in public, the 10-year old who received "quality porn clips" on his cell phone, and the fact that TCAP was filmed like 2 miles from my house.

There's a fantastic Seth rant for 10+ minutes somewhere around episode 103 I think about getting old and out of touch. Then when that's through Jonathan posits that most of the way humans act is because we can't fly. It's a classic episode.

I'm partial to his rendition of Feelin' Groovy where he surprises Seth by launching into it with no warning. He pauses just to take a breath between the first and second verse and you can briefly hear Seth stifling his laughter.

That episode (161) also has Seth's great "Canadians are hosed up, I think" rant. And Seth's attempt to see Gertrude Baines on her birthday a second time. Great episode all around, still want to know what Seth's present for Gertrude was.

Jah writes and sings most of a fake Smashmouth intro along those lines in Episode 166 with a midi backing. It's amazing and someone needs to get a clip of that in the OP stat.

Crazy timing because I just heard it for the first time right now and came to comment on it.

The midi backing is so loving funny, If I remember correctly they had talked about making a version of "all Star" for the show and then a listener wrote them the lyrics and jah sang it off of some midi track he probably found online.

Wow. 356 is such an incredible ep. When Jonathan defines "Pedophobia" as the fear of young children, there's a pause that makes me think they both started laughing so hysterically they had to stop recording for a sec. And then the image of two 31-year old twin sisters brawling outside then tripping over a curb and getting run over, which Seth describes as, "Wrapped around each other, fighting, but in the end just holding each other." God I love UYD

I just listened to 171. Seth getting so worked up about Jonathan casually breaking his vegetarian lifestyle after 10 years seemed totally justified. I don't think he was as concerned about the food aspect, but what it meant for someone who recently broke an even longer stint of sobriety. That's what I took away from it at least.

Speaking of which, Seth goes on a 10-minute rant against peds (pronounced "peeds") at the beginning of episode 35 and it's masterful. I also wish I could work the phrase "boner rage" into daily conversation.

E: Guns and/or Roses in one of the episodes right after that slew me :laffo:
