Of course not! It's actually an adult themed video game that handles rape and other atrocities in a humorous way!

What?? How do you even make a very abstracted grand strategy game like Sengoku or any other Paradox game into a hentai game? Games with 3-d models I can imagine, like all those perverted mods for Skyrim and such, but this is just silly!

Sengoku Rance is basically a combination between a SPRG and a visual novel. It's far from being a 'Rape Simulator', stop sounding like Fox News :v:
It's full of porn because that's how japanese doujin games work.

Nah, the Sengoku mod is just a standard paradox game mod, kind of in the line of Wiz's stuff. It just adds the option of replacing sengoku's 'amazing' portrait system with animé as hell pictures like

I shall wait until there are at least 5 mods out which rectify Paradox's inevitable inability to do justice to the glory of the Eastern Roman Empire and then choose between them. (Seriously England, because nationalism/I know how to play them).

And I'm amazed Paradox are continuing with the Horde mechanics. I've never heard anyone say they're anything but awful, are the Paradox forums telling them it's good or something?

What do people think is the best scenario to get into the meat of Darkest Hour to learn the vagaries of the tech tree, and nuances of combat without spending hours building infrastructure/factories? Or important things like concentration/infrastructure bonuses to IC production, a la Arsenal? I don't want to run Germany '36 again. I guess steam has the manual, so I'll start there, but I'm sure tons of it has changed since that got put out.
Previous page, but Kaiserreich is really one of the best ways to do this - the scenario is specifically engineered so that you'll almost always end up in some kind of war within a year or two. Most regions are Balkanized so that you don't have triple-digit IC monsters (without fighting for it!) and the wars are fairly localized so you don't get overwhelmed by the sheer number of troops you need to command.

The best thing is that KSR uses Darkest Hour-Full's tech tree and units and balance and whatnot, so once you're comfortable with the UI and the mechanics, you can take your learnings right into the OTL game. The only thing that KSR actually changes as far as game mechanics is putting the manpower system back to HOI2 standards, but as far as I'm concerned that's a good thing (DH-Full's manpower system isn't bad, just a little too dense and realism-over-gameplay for me).

You're dealing with people, so like in every multiplayer game, communication is key. The few games I have been in with friends, we hashed out what areas of expansion we "claimed" and only started loving with each other as we hit those borders. Also, making peace deals/alliances is a hell of a lot more fun when both sides are people and know how to bargain!

Either A) Teutonic Order, and through the Russian Crusades, bring Catholicism to Russia. Then Convert to Russian Culture. Then found the Russian Order.

Option B is restore the Golden Horde as a successor khanate. If I can't make Golden America, EU IV will be a failure :colbert:.

If the general reaction is positive I'll probably go with Venice, because of the new trade mechanics, because it was the first country with which I had a full game of EU3, and because of nationalism ofc.

If it's not-so-positive, I'll be going with Sweden since I can be almost sure that at least that one got properly tested and QA'd :v:

It strikes me that Saxony has the potential to be an interesting country in EU4. It starts out leading a PU with Thuringia and it owns Meissen, the OPM to its northeast. If it inherits Thuringia, it's well on its way to becoming a major player in the HRE.

Same here, gonna see just what sort of clusterfuck Asia is and figure out what edits it needs for the megacampaign.

Speaking of which, I'm working on a thesis that the above didn't happen because of policies that prevented the rise of a bourgeoisie middle class stemming from a lack of maritime trade. What do you think?

I think that every time in China the coastal regions got rich the government eventually had to crack down because it created unrest in all other (poor) areas of the country.

I think I broke Kieserreich. Its not even 1937 and WW2 has started. I was playing as Austria and went to war with Italy when the event came up, and pressed them pretty hard. Just before I marched into Ancona, Southern Italy declared war on Northern italy, probably because I just destroyed the norths army. Straight after, the event to puppet Italy came up, which immediately ended north Italy's war the south. It didnt stop the event chain happening though, and France ignored German warnings to pull out and went to war with Germany in 1936. Should be interesting to see how this game goes. Weirdly I haven't been drawn into the war though.

EDIT: Union of Britain joined France a few days after this picture was taken, and the Royalists attacked Britain after that.

That your thesis is completely wrong because the Ming Dynasty had tons of maritime trade and a (by early modern world standards) huge and wealthy middle class.

Show no mercy and never do anything you won't gain either money or provinces from. People will be dicks to you, push you around, they will invade your land because you're probably terrible at waging pvp wars (everyone is before they get the practice) and you will feel betrayed by at least one allie before the session is over.

Enjoy!(It's actually a lot of fun)

Aragon owns Sicily and Sardinia and leads a PU with Naples, that's a pretty big one.

Portugal already owns Ceuta, Madiera, and Azores, while Castille already owns Canaries, speeding up colonization.

Teutonic Order owns a province in Brandenburg, bringing it much closer to the rest of the HRE.
