What I meant was I die real quick during my 'zerk so it never really feels like it helps unless I'm just going up against one big dude. Most situations have me surrounded by guys too far away for my aim to be of any use. Also does Mamaril EVER spawn? I've been popping back and forth to Sanctuary for ages now and no sign of him. On the X-Box and I know since the patch it's a %10 span chance so either I'm super unlucky or he doesn't spawn until after a certain number of story missions are done maybe?

I'm glad the Mamaril achievement was one of the first things I got in this game, when he still spawned pretty much every time you went to Sanctuary. I've never seen him once after the patch. Also I spent 2 hours yesterday killing Dexiduous (he killed me 50 times, I killed him once) and got jack poo poo out of it. You don't even get a Badass Point or anything

Finally popped and got a blue Tediore shotgun. I didn't know about him before the patch but I could imagine you'd be able to farm a shitload of money just going back and forth.

Yep, was great to farm him and then the slots afterwards. I've seen him maybe 3 times since the patch and the other night for the first time in months. It was a fun surprise finding him in the crimson raiders building, like a blast from the past.

Ok was this playthrough 2.5 in the game from the beginning or has it been added because that is awesome. Came to this thread because none of my friends play B-lands much anymore. I love this game, this game is my diablo. Now if I screwed up and did side missions before beating the Warrior in TVHM can I start a new true vault game with the same character or do I have to do it with a character who hasn't done the missions yet?

It was always there as an unannounced feature, and it's aggravating enough (you lock yourself out of scaling by accepting a quest, and you can't redo quests you've already completed) that the developers might not even have thought of it as one.

Just to echo the "Orange isn't everything" sentiment, a purple torgue shotgun with a high pellet count (I think they're always called Ravagers) beat the crap out of a pretty decent chunk of orange guns. I'd kill for a level 50 purple Ravager, but any purple torgue shotties I get are all with a spread of 5 or 6 shots.

Moxxi's Heartbreaker is definitely one of the best guns in the game. Got me through the majority of Hammerlock's Hunt along with a 25% Burn Damage relic. A couple of the Gunzerker's skills make it absolutely ridiculous as well, you can fire off like 13 shots with perfect accuracy in 2 seconds.

I decided to finally try for a bladed version of Miss Moxxi's Rubi and eventually got one after about 15 reloads. It's an amazing gun; it totally outclasses Law and Order for a melee build in need of some survivability.

Did anyone else find the Sir Hammerlock DLC incredibly short? Like even shorter than the Torgue DLC? I swear there were only about 25 quests, and short ones to boot. The first zone is mostly empty and the rest are just... I don't know. It just seemed a little under-done.

If done correctly, so can the side quests (though gently caress that "I like my monsters rare" quest). I'd have preferred more to it, but now I'm worried that the last of the season pass DLC's is going to be even shorter than that.

Somewhere deep back in this thread is an actual explanation of the math, but what it came down to is that it mostly means more greens, but even that at a negligible rate.

If I'm going to farm minibosses for legendaries do I have to do it during their related quest? I ask because I've killed Doc Mercy like at least 50 times without him dropping an Infinity, but I turned in that quest long ago. On the flipside, I got my Bee from Hunter Hellquist on like my fourth try, but I'm pretty sure that was while his quest was still active. Did I screw up by turning in the quest, or are the drop rates really that low and I just got lucky with the Bee? VVV I see, thanks for the info. Nope, the bosses have the same drop rate whether you're fighting them during their quest or farming them afterwards. Side note: The Infinity has a minuscule drop rate.
