Former Human posted:The difference is that Howard hates tchotchkes. He hated it when Jackie sold his cheap Jokeland stuff, and the same thing applies to Sal and Richard's lame t-shirts. Howard never really complained about them doing stand-up or Gary doing his various appearances. It's selling dumb items to the fans that bothers Howard. Eh, he's busted on appearances by Gary, Ronnie, John, Lisa G, etc over the years. He hates it all.

I'm watching Dirty Work and drat, if Artie isn't making me laugh. It's the birth of the term Baby Gorilla and one heck of a misunderstood comedy. Artie might be a junkie, but the dude is great at comedy and I hope he stays around for a long time making more of it.

My only exposure to it is from interviews on Stern or someone recommending a stand-up special on Netflix or something. I think what makes Artie unique is his story telling. It seems to me that's not something you see a lot anymore, but correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am. He just has these amazing crazy stories that I'm sure are embellished for humor, but man, he tells them in such a convincing manner.

It's one of those movies that you think would not age well, and sustains itself only on nostalgia, but that movie is still loving hilarious. Artie and Norm make a great team.

The most hilarious thing is the hideous way Norm dresses. He looks like a shrunken person swimming in giant clothes. But I love the dude, he is great, one of my favorites right up there with Gilbert and Artie. Man, I'd love to have hung out with Artie back in the day, grab a drink, listen to his stories about hookers. He seems like one of those guys that are fun to be around, like he loves his fans and being a celeb, cept when he is on a coke binge, but he seems like a person you would want to meet and wouldn't feel like a dick head telling him how much you like him. If I ever saw Howard around, I'd be too scared to go bother him because he seems like an anti-social mess.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X_eZziry20 Notice how they played a game this week and didn't have a contest or do any betting or have any in-studio fun? They're just going through the motions. I'm not even lamenting from a "oh no the show is ruined" kind of way, but they should have just quit at the end of the previous contract. Whenever I tune in now, the whole show just seems so lame. There are basically no new bits, the guests have progressively gotten more lame, you don't hear anything about people in the wack pack, and the ball-busting of the staff has just gotten mean-spirited. So fellas, what's the big deal with getting a knee to the crotch? It comes up every time they talk about going to 'Scores' but I don't see what's so good about a woman's knee touching your groin area. Is it an euphemism for something?

It's not like they're grinding it into your stuff like a powersaw, it's just part of their moveset and again, anytime any woman(or man if you're so suited) rubs any part of their body into that area a guy is going to like it. A girl could move her elbow in the right way and guys would like it. It just so happens that in a dance it's usually either her rear end or her knee. Yeah the game was actually pretty interesting but Howard was ruining it by complaining the whole time and just wanting to be done with it. It's the same with Interviews now. He used to know just when to lay off and let the person talk and when to push forward with the interview. Now it seems with every interview he just wants to rush through it and be done with it.

Listening to an old show with KC in it, and Howard's angry that KC makes more than $19k a year. in 2000. Because Howard made $100 a week back in 1975, why can't everyone live in Manhattan on $9.50 an hour??????

Ronnie does fairly well due to the limo business. Last time I checked he had quite a fleet and a large clientele. You have to think in the NY Metro area you would have a lot of regular business. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls in low seven figures a year just from that.

Oh man, this right-wing rear end in a top hat guest is driving me crazy... his delivery is pretty similar to Bubba's, too. Always amazes me how these guys can, without a hint of irony, hold up Nazi Germany as the ultimate slippery slope. Most of his opinions dovetail quite nicely with the Nazi party line. EDIT: Scratch that, he sounds like a 50/50 combo between Bubba and Rush Limbaug. Wow, and now some rather direct anti-semitism... EDIT EDIT: Oops, sorry, he isn't a right-winger... he is a libertarian. A Christian, anti-porn Libertarian. Riiiiiiiigggghhhhht.
