Is it wrong that I desperately want to see a Haley/Brewer ticket from the GOP in 2016? I mean it would be like a perfect storm of borderline insane, yet seemingly well liked GOP women. I mean I don't think it would do them any favors with the Latino vote they seem to be courting, but statistically speaking they should do better among women than Romney did.

So really the only news out of this is that Obama promised to host a dinner for the female Senators at the White House and hasn't kept his promise and it's been months. Chapter One Million in the book of Obama's poor relations with the Hill. But I think it would be hilarious to watch a national campaign based on the agenda Gillibrand outlined tonight. Not that she's wrong on any of it, in fact it's mostly common sense stuff that is ridiculous that it isn't the law already, but you know the right wing media sphere's heads will collectively explode over an agenda based on equal rights and privileges for women.
